Audi has opened the bookings for its upcoming Compact SUV, the Q3. It will mark the return of the Q3 badge after the last generation car was axed in 2020 prior to the implementation of the stricter BS6 emission norms.
The new Q3 will be powered by a sole 2.0L TFSI Turbo Petrol motor producing 190HP and 320NM which is shared among other Audi models such as the Q2 and A4. Audi claims the new Q3 will do the 0-100 run in 7.3 seconds with a top speed of 222 Kmph. It will also receive Audi’s Quattro all-wheel-drive system as standard.
Further, it also boasts of features such as a panoramic sunroof, Power adjustable front seats with four-way Lumbar support, a 10 speaker 180W Audi sound system, dual zone climate control, Audi Virtual Cockpit and auto-dimming exterior mirrors and more. Audi also claims it has the largest boot in the segment with 530L of cargo space with an electric opening and closing tailgate.
The new Q3 will be available in two variants- Premium Plus and Technology. The booking amount has been kept at Rs. 2 Lakhs. Audi will also be offering the first 500 customers complimentary 2+3 years extended warranty, 3 year / 50,000 km Comprehensive Service Value Package and loyalty benefits to existing Audi customers. Audi has said the deliveries of the Q3 will start towards the end of 2022. The new Q3 will compete with rivals such as the Mercedes Benz GLA, BMW X1 and Volvo XC40.
