TVS Motor has launched the updated version of their electric scooter- the iQube. It receives thorough improvements, new features as well as a new colour palette for customers to choose from. TVS will also offer a 140Km claimed range in the top end ST variant as well as features such as a touchscreen and reverse assist.
The iQube comes in 3 variants, the iQube, iQube S and iQube ST. While the standard iQube and the S variant recieve a 100Km range, the ST has been claimed to offer 140KM of range which has doubled from the outgoing version’s modest 70Km figure. A 4.4kW (5.9HP) hub mounted motor makes the iQube reach a top speed of 78Kmph (iQube and iQube S) and 82Kmph respectively. Given below is the variant feature spread:
TVS iQube

The base iQube receives a 5 inch TFT screen with features such as turn-by-turn navigation and USB phone charger. It also recieves a 3.4 kWh battery pack that gives it 100 KM of range. Boot space is rated at 17L. It gets a portable 650W charger for charging duties. It will also be available in 3 colours.
TVS iQube S
The mid-variant iQube S uses the same battery pack as the base variant which gives it a 100Km range as well. As for features, it recieves a a 7 inch TFT screen, with an intuitive 5-way joystick for interaction, music control, theme personalisation, proactive notifications including vehicle health. It gets an option of either a 650W or a 950W portable charger. The S will be available in 4 colours.
TVS iQube ST

The iQube ST is the range topping variant of the electric scooter. It gets a bigger 5.1kWh battery pack which ensures a claimed range of 140Km on a single charge. Over the S, it also receives a 7 inch TFT touchscreen console which is capable of receiving OTA updates, geo-fencing, voice-assist and Amazon Alexa virtual assistant. It also has a bigger storage capacity of 32L over the 17L in the lower variants which TVS claims can carry 2 helmets together. Additionally, it gets fast charging capabilities with an option of a 1.5kW portable fast charger

It is available in 4 new colours and has fast-charging capability.
The TVS iQube starts at Rs. 98, 564 (on-road Delhi after subsidies) while the S variant is priced at Rs. 1,08, 690(on-road Delhi after subsidies). While TVS hasn’t revealed the prices of the top end ST variant yet, pre-bookings have begun for Rs. 999 only. It is available for booking via TVS dealerships in 33 cities in India whereas they plan to add an additional 52 cities soon. The new iQube will compete with the likes of the Ola S1 Pro, Ather 450 Plus and Bajaj Chetak among others.
