Audi has launched a special edition of their midsize SUV in India, called the Q5 Special Edition. Based on the top end Technology variant, it receives a few unique touches and a new colour option.
The Q5 Special Edition will be available with a choice of two paint options- Ibis White and the exclusive District Green. It will also receive a black styling package which include blackened out logos, roof rails, mirrors and five-spoke Graphite Gray diamond cut alloys. Audi is also offering their Genuine Accessories kit for a lower price with the special edition. Besides these, there are no changes in the equipment list which remains based off the Technology variant. Equipment include 3 zone climate control, a panoramic sunroof, wireless phone charger and LED lights among others. A 755W 19-speaker Bang & Olufsen sound system is also included.
Mechanically as well, the Q5 Special Edition remains unchanged from the regular Q5. It is powered by a 2.0L TFSI motor belting out 249HP and 370NM of torque. A Quattro all-wheel-drive system is also offered along with an adaptive suspension with damping control.
The new Audi Q5 Special Edition is priced at Rs. 67.05 Lakhs (Ex-Showroom), a premium of Rs. 84,000 over the Technology variant. It competes against other midsize luxury SUVs such as the BMW X3, Mercedes GLC and Land Rover Evoque among others.
