Bounce Infinity, an up and coming manufacturer of two wheeler EV’s in India, announced today the commencement of production for the E1 electric scooter from its manufacturing facility in Bhiwadi, Rajasthan.

The company had launched its E1 scooter in December 2021, with deliveries being stated to begin by May 2022.
With current capacity exceeding 200,000 scooters annually, the plant will serve as the brand’s national manufacturing hub, catering to demand from across the country.

Bounce Infinity E1 gets dual options in battery charging – Scooter with Battery-as-a-Service (BaaS) and Scooter with battery and charger. The E1 is also offered with an option of the battery being able be removed from the scooter and charged by customers externally.

The “BaaS” option, where the user can switch their depleted batteries at swapping stations with a full one without waiting for the scooter to charge, pushes down on the acquisition costs of the scooter substantially by as much as 40%, claimed by Bounce Infinity.
The Bounce Infinity E1 comes equipped with a Brushless DC motor and a 2kWh 48V Battery system with IP67 waterproof rating, in addition to features like Cruise Control and Drag Mode.
With production underway, the company is on track to start deliveries on April 18th, 2022.

Once delivered, the Bounce Infinity E1 will be going up against the likes of Ola S1, TVS iQube, Hero Elecric Photon and the Okinawa Praise.
