Ferrari debuted the convertible version of its hybrid V6 296 GTB supercar, dubbed as the 296 GTS. With this, it becomes the first-ever convertible Ferrari offered with a V6 engine as well as the first rear wheel drive PHEV Ferrari.

The 296 GTS derives power from a combination of a 3.0L turbocharged V6 motor paired to an electric motor putting out a combined 819HP and 740NM and making the 296 GTS fly to 100kmph from standstill in 2.9s all the way till its 330 kmph top speed. Ferrari claims that it can go upto 135 kmph in pure electric mode before the engine kicks in. The power is sent to the wheels via an 8 speed dual clutch transmission. It also gets a 65-litre fuel tank

The 296 GTS gets a retractable hard top which can be folded or put in place within 14 seconds till speeds of 45 kmph.

Exterior touches include a LaFerrari inspired active spoiler, Aero brake calipers from the SF90. Also on offer is the Assetto Fiorano package which adds a new livery inspired by the iconic 1963 Ferrari 250 LM, various aero bits, a high-downforce configuration providing as much as 360kg downforce at 250kmph and optional Michelin Pilot Sport Cup2R high-performance tyres among others.
