Here’s what to expect at Auto Expo 2023: Toyota

The Auto Expo 2023 is scheduled to take place from 13th-18th January at India Expo Mart, Greater Noida. It is one of the premier and most-anticipated events in the auto industry for the year. This year, Toyota will be participating with a host of their domestic and international line-up with a focus on sustainable mobility. Their stall will be divided in 3 parts, Technology, Emotion and Environment zones.

Technology Zone

Toyota’s Technology zone will include their international products as well as concepts relating to new technologies such as the strong hybrid powertrain, Fuel Cell EVs, Plug-in hybrids and flexi-fuel hybrids among others. We expect Toyota to showcase the Mirai fuel-cell EV which has long been in the works for India.

Further, Toyota might include the recently launched Innova Hycross strong hybrid version in this stall. There is also a chance that Toyota will showcase the new Prius from their international line-up. Although it is not being considered for an India launch anytime soon. For the flex-fuel strong hybrid, they will showcase its Corolla Altis Hybrid which is a part of their pilot project. Along with these, Toyota will also have a display of the hydrogen concept technology.

Emotion Zone

The Emotion zone will focus on younger audience and showcase modified versions of Toyota’s lineup. Further these will include modified SUVs such as Fortuner and Hilux. It might also include their soon-to-be launched flagship Land Cruiser LC300. Moreover Toyota is expected to make a formal announcement about the relaunch of the Innova Crysta in February 2023 to be sold alongside the Hycross. It will be positioned as a lower cost option and will focus on the fleet market.

Environment Zone

The Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder strong hybrid

The Environment Zone will focus on showcasing Toyota’s environmental efforts and give the public a peek into their sustainable processes. It will also have a display of the strong hybrid Urban Cruiser Hyryder and government initiatives for cleaner and more sustainable practices in the automotive industry.
