Hyundai i20 N-Line facelift; what’s changed
With the facelift, Hyundai has made only minimal changes to the i20 N-Line. These include new reflector LED headlamps which take place of the Projector setup in the previous iteration. Further, there is a new design for the 16 inch diamond alloy wheels. Besides this the rear bumper is slightly reprofiled. Interestingly, Hyundai has decided to not change the front fascia and the N-Line continues with the Hyundai logo in centre of the grille unlike the regular i20 which now gets the logo placed above it. Notably, the N-Line also retains foglamps which have been deleted in the standard variants.
Under the hood, the i20 N-Line remains powered by the 1.0L 3 cylinder turbo-petrol engine that makes 120HP and 172NM of torque. With the regular i20 only getting a 1.2L NA petrol now, this turbo-petrol powertrain is now unique to the N-Line. The biggest change with the facelift however, is the inclusion of a 6 speed manual transmission which replaces the 6 speed iMT from the pre-facelift car. The optional 7 speed DCT automatic continues as is. Just like before, the it also features a stiffer suspension, different exhaust and sharper steering compared to the regular i20.
