Hyundai has launched the facelift of its sub 4 metre crossover, the Venue. It gets many first-in-segment features like 2-step reclining rear seats and Embedded voice commands. The SUV starts at a price of Rs. 7.53 Lakhs for the base variant.
The new Hyundai Venue will be offered with a choice of 3 engines and 4 transmission options. The base 1.2L Kappa MPI Petrol engine will be offered with a 5 speed MT, while the 1.5L U2 CRDi diesel will be offered with a 6 speed MT. The 1.0L Turbo GDi engine remains the flagship engine of the Venue and will come with an option of a 6 speed iMT or a 7 speed DCT transmission.
The Hyundai Venue facelift receives a host of updates on the exteriors including a reworked face with new grille, headlights and bumpers. The side profile has also seen updates in the form of new 16 inch diamond-cut alloy wheels. Moving on to the rear, there is now a set of new taillamps connected by a red strip going across the width of the car as well as new, redesigned bumpers.
Moving on inside, the new Venue borrows the digital cluster from its cousin, the Kia Carens which is equipped with parking sensor display, Highline TPMS, turn-by-turn navigation and more. 4-way electrically adjustable driver seat, Wireless charging, USB Type-C front and rear charging ports, cruise control and rear AC vents are also present on the equipment list. The Hyundai Venue now receives a 6 speaker music system and a 2 step reclining rear seat as well.

Talking of safety, Hyundai has loaded the Venue facelift with features such as 6 airbags, ABS+EBD, HSC, VSC, ESC, Cornering headlamps among others.

Hyundai has also announced a 3 year/unlimited kms warranty as well as a 3 year Road Side Assistance package and a 3 year BlueLink subscription as standard. The warranty can be further extended till 7 years. The new Hyundai Venue will be available in 7 monotone colour options- Polar White, Typhoon Silver, Phantom Black, Denim Blue, Titan Grey and Fiery Red. It will also be available in one Fiery Red with Black Roof dual tone option at a premium of Rs. 15,000
The new Hyundai Venue facelift is priced from Rs. 7,53,100 for the base 1.2L Kappa E variant to Rs. 12,57,000 for the top 1.0L Kappa GDi SX(O) DCT variant. It competes with cars such as the Tata Nexon, Kia Sonet and Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza.
