Jawa 42 Bobber launched!- new Bobber sits below Perak

Jawa has launched their latest offering, the Jawa 42 Bobber based on their entry-level 42 motorcycle. It gets new styling and custom treatment from the factory.

Outside, the new Jawa 42 Bobber receives upgrades such as a new fuel tank with knee recesses and tank pads, gloss black fenders and side panels, a reprofiled headlamp, new handlebars and foot controls and more. In terms of features, the new 42 Bobber receives a digital clock console with an LCD screen, fully LED lights all around. A 2 step adjustable seat is also present which can be moved back and forth as per the rider’s preferences. The motorcycle also features some traditional Bobber touches such as minimalist bodywork, chopped
fenders, low single seat and fat tyres.

Power figures stand at 3oHP and 32.7NM through the same 334cc powertrain from the Perak. Transmission duties are handled through a 6 speed transmission. Jawa says the brakes have also been recalibrated and the suspension retuned for a better feel. A dual-channel Continental ABS is standard as well.

The 42 Bobber will be available for test rides through Jawa-Yezdi dealerships starting next week. Deliveries are also expected to begin soon. Three colours are on offer- Mystic Copper, Moonstone White and Jasper Red dual-tone. They are priced at Rs. 2,06,500, Rs. 2,07,500 and Rs. 2,09,187 respectively (All prices Ex-Showroom Delhi). While there is no direct rival for the 42 Bobber, it will likely go up against the Royal Enfield Classic 350 and Honda H’Ness.
