New Scorpio-N

New Mahindra Scorpio-N interiors revealed!

Mahindra has revealed the interiors of its upcoming SUV, the Scorpio-N, check them out below!

The dashboard design revealed by Mahindra shows a much more premium cabin compared to the current generation Scorpio with features such as a large touchscreen. The steering wheel seems to be a direct lift from the XUV7OO. Also to note is that Mahindra will be offering conventional physical buttons and knobs for various functions as against the recent trend by OEMs to shift controls to the touchscreen. The picture also shows the presence of curtain airbags on the A-Pillar which confirms the presence of 6 airbags.

The second picture suggests that Mahindra will also have a captain seat variant at launch- the first for any Scorpio till date. The presence of a sunroof is also confirmed with this picture albeit it is a regular sized one and not a panoramic unit like its older brother, the XUV7OO.

The Mahindra Scorpio-N will launch on 27th June. Petrol and Diesel engines will be present along with a choice of Manual and Automatic transmissions. A 4×4 variant is also on the cards. The Scorpio-N will share its platform with the Thar and will be based on a Body-On-Frame construction. It will rival competition such as the Tata Safari and Harrier, Hyundai Creta and Kia Seltos.
