JSW Jetour T2 – Expected Exterior Design

As per the patent filing image, it suggests that the India-spec model will largely retain the Jetour T2’s boxy styling. The front features squared LED headlamps connected by a black trim element with six protruding squares. While the global model carries Jetour branding, the Indian version is expected to feature JSW badging.

Other visible elements include a honeycomb-pattern grille, a sculpted bumper with a fog lamp and pairs of pixel-style daytime running light clusters on each side. The bonnet appears contoured and includes grab handles. The design patent also shows door-mounted ORVMs, although earlier teasers displayed mirrors mounted on the A-pillars.

Minor differences are visible in the roof rail design, while other elements such as the alloy wheels, flared wheel-arch cladding and window line appear similar to the international model. The rear design has not yet been shown, but the overall styling is expected to remain largely unchanged.

JSW Jetour T2 – Expected Powertrain

JSW Motors plans to introduce the plug-in hybrid ‘i-DM’ version of the T2 in India. The system combines a 1.5-litre turbo-petrol engine producing 156hp with a 26.7kWh battery pack. The setup can be paired with either a single front-mounted motor for front-wheel drive or a dual-motor configuration for all-wheel drive.

In the all-wheel-drive version, the combined output is rated at 381hp and 610Nm, delivered through a three-speed dedicated hybrid transmission. The battery offers a claimed electric-only range of 139km under the NEDC cycle, while the combined driving range is estimated at over 1,000km. It remains unclear whether JSW will offer both drivetrain options in India.
