Tata launches #JET editions of Nexon, Harrier and Safari!- upgraded features!

Tata Motors ha launched the special editions of its three SUVs- Nexon, Harrier and Safari called the #JET Edition. It brings additional equipment as well as some exterior updates.

Tata Nexon #JET edition

The Nexon will be available with a new Starlight colour option which includes a dual-tone combination of earthy bronze body and a platinum silver roof. The alloys also receive the Jet Black colour treatment. Silver faux skid plates have also been added at the front and rear to improve the looks. Inside, the interiors are finished dual-tone Oyster White & Granite black colour scheme.


There are also bronze highlights across interior trims. The seats are also finished with bronze stitching along with #JET embroidery on the headrests. A wireless charger has been added to existing features such as an Ventilated seats, AQi monitor, electric sunroof etc from the top variant. The Nexon #JET Edition will be available in the XZ+ trim with an option of Manual and AMT transmissions as well as Petrol and Diesel engines. It is priced from Rs. 12.13 Lakhs (ex-showroom) for the XZ+ Petrol MT.

Tata Harrier and Safari #JET Edition

The Harrier receives similar treatment outside as the Nexon but also receives an upgraded features list. The Harrier #JET Edition will now be available with Electronic Parking Brake with Auto hold, ESP, Driver Doze off alert, Panic Brake alert and After Impact Braking. C Type charging ports have also been added to both the front and rear rows.




Tata has also added all-disc brakes in the Harrier which were previously not offered. New Benecke-Kaliko leatherette seat upholstery is also given along with the inclusion of Wireless Android Auto/ Apple Carplay, Air purifier and a Wireless charger.  The Harrier #JET Edition is available in both XZ+ and XZA+ variants priced at 20.90 Lakhs and Rs. 22.20 Lakhs (Ex-showroom) respectively. It is offered with a sole 2.0L diesel engine.

The Safari #JET edition receives all the updates as the Harrier and the addition of Winged Comfort Head Restraints on the second row bench and captain seats. It is being offered in the XZ+ and XZA+ trims with 6 seater and 7 seater options with prices starting from Rs. 21.35 lakhs (ex-showroom) for the XZ+ 7 seater variant. There are no changes under the hood.



Nexon EV #JET Edition teased

Tata has also showcased the Nexon EV #JET edition with it appearing in the official TVC as well as website banners. However Tata has made no announcements nor updated its website with any information on the same which leads us to speculate that it will be launched soon. The TVC indicates that it will also receive all-disc brakes and EPB with auto hold among other features. It is expected to receive similar treatment with no mechanical changes.
