THE EV TRANSITION

2021 was a year when we really saw growth opportunities in electric vehicles. We have just started taking EV vehicles seriously and as we go ahead with the revolutions, growth and updates in the automobile sector, we will
see even more opportunities in electric vehicles. The automotive industry is
going through a transitionary phase switching to alternative and less energy-intensive options of mobility, in a bid to reduce the environmental impact.
There can be multiple thoughts by the people on EV right now. Where some may
feel that electric vehicles are a must buy the others might just feel that Electric
Vehicles are on the expensive side as of now and that time is yet to come when
there will be a shift from petrol/diesel to EV but this financing will become the
the biggest enabler for EV adoption in the next few years.
The Centre for Energy Finance at Council on Energy, Environment and Water at
Centre for Energy Finance (CEEW-CEF) shows that the 57,043 registrations
recorded during April to September 2021 for high-speed EV have surpassed a total
registrations recorded in FY21 (40,837 units). Further, the electric two-wheeler
(e-2W) the industry is expected to grow at a compounded annual growth rate of
75-80% over FY22-FY25.

Here we look forward to the electric two-wheelers that we expect to be launched
