Toyota has finally revealed the prices of their latest pick-up truck, the Hilux in India. The Hilux was launched back in January with the bookings suspended soon after by Toyota due to overwhelming response.
The Hilux has been launched in 3 variants and starts at Rs. 33.99 Lakh for the base 4×4 MT Standard variant, while the 4×4 MT High is priced at Rs. 35.80 Lakhs with the range topping 4×4 AT High variant priced at Rs. 36.80 Lakhs (all prices ex-showroom)

The new Hilux shares its drivetrain with the Fortuner and is powered by a 2.8L Diesel engine paired to either a 6 speed Manual or a 6 speed torque converter Automatic transmissions which is rated at 204HP and 420 NM(MT)/500NM(AT). 4×4 remains standard across the range. Toyota also claims that the Hilux has 700mm of water wading capability.
It primarily competes with the Isuzu V-Cross.
