Toyota Innova Crysta relaunched; available in 4 variants!

Toyota has re-launched the Innova Crysta with a 2.4L diesel engine. It will be available in 4 variants with an option of either 7 or 8 seats. It will be sold alongside the recently launched Innova Hycross. You can watch our review of the Hycross here.

Toyota, however, will not be offering the relaunched Crysta with an automatic or a petrol powertrain. It will be solely available with a 2.4L Diesel engine paired to a 5 speed manual transmission. This combination produces 148HP and 343NM. Toyota has also given it an updated front fascia with a reprofiled bumper and air dam.

In terms of equipment, the Innova Crysta remains unchanged and is available with 7 airbags, front and rear parking sensors, VSC, HSA and more. There is also an 8 way powered driver seat, ambient illumination, auto AC with rear vents and an 8 inch touchscreen music system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. It also gets Eco and Power drive modes.

The new Crysta will be available in 4 trims- G, GX, VX and ZX with a choice of 7 or 8 seats (except on ZX). The interiors can be configured with either Black or Camel Tan leather upholstery. Colours offered are- White Pearl Crystal Shine, Superwhite, Silver, Attitude Black and Avant Garde Bronze.

Toyota has commenced the bookings for the new Crysta but not yet revealed the price. We expect the new Crysta to be priced in the range of Rs. 17-25 Lakhs (Ex-showroom). Further details are expected to emerge soon. The updated Crysta will rival competition such as the Kia Carens, Tata Safari and Mahindra XUV7OO.
