Volkswagen has launched the Polo GT TSI Legend Edition. It is based on the top spec Polo GT TSI and is limited to 700 Units. It celebrates 12 years of Polo sales in India and is Volkswagen’s last hurrah before the production of the current generation model ends.
The Legend receives a few exclusive touches over the regular GT TSI namely Legend badges on the front fenders and boot, black garnish on the bootlid and special side decals.
There are no changes mechanically and it remains powered by a 1.0L 3 cylinder TSI motor mated to a 6 speed torque converter AT sourced from Aisin.
The Polo was Volkswagen’s first product in India and was launched way back in 2010. Based on the PQ25 platform, it was globally the 6th generation of the Polo. Volkswagen currently has no immediate plans to launch the current Polo sold globally based on the MQB platform.
The Polo GT TSI Legend Edition is priced at 10.25 Lakhs
