Yokohama India has announced its partnership with Paras Bhimta in his expedition from Leh to Kanyakumari this month. The brand’s Geolandar all-terrain G015 will be Mr Bhimta’s choice in his record breaking cross-country travel.
An enthusiastic endurance traveller, Paras Bhimta is aiming to complete this 4000 km endeavour in record time of less than 56 hours and 20 minutes in his car, starting 20th September. “This journey would present numerous challenges because it would traverse all of India’s terrains”, stated Mr Bhimta.
Yokohama’s Geolandar AT G015 will be at Mr Bhimta’s disposal. An all-terrain tyre it has unmatched durability and longer tread life, as the manufacturer claims. Specifically designed for excellent wet grip and off-road traction, the features of this tyre make it an appropriate choice for an expedition of this magnitude.
Paras Bhimta’s journey will comprise of a wide array of terrains not for the faint hearted. Apart from that, India’s weather variations among its states means his tyres’ wet performance will be a necessity. “We are happy to be associated with Paras Bhimta’s passion for motoring with our all-terrain Geolandar tyres and have spruced up his vehicle”, noted Mr Harshwardhan Honmode, Director at Yokohama India.
Yokohama has been a premier tyre manufacturer all around the world, and has products like Geolandar A/T, Earth-1 and BluEarth-GT made in India from 2014.
