2025 Hyundai Venue launch on 4th November: Here’s everything you need to know

Hyundai Motor India Limited  is gearing up to introduce the next-generation Hyundai Venue in India on November 4th, 2025, marking a significant update to one of its best-selling compact SUVs. The upcoming model promises a bolder design, upgraded interiors, and a long list of connected and safety technologies. Bookings are now open at Hyundai dealerships nationwide for a token amount of Rs 25,000.

The 2025 Venue adopts a more assertive design language. Up front, it features a split-headlamp setup flanked by C-shaped LED DRLs and a broader dark chrome grille that gives the SUV a wider and tougher appearance. The bumper design has been tweaked to look chunkier, and the overall dimensions have grown slightly – it now stands 48 mm taller and 30 mm wider than before. The SUV measures 3,995 mm in length, 1,800 mm in width, and 1,665 mm in height, while retaining its 2,520 mm wheelbase.

On the sides, the Venue gets new 16-inch diamond-cut alloys, chunky wheel arches, and a refreshed C-pillar design. Other subtle touches like the VENUE badge integrated into the rear glass and bridge-style roof rails add to its visual appeal.

Step inside, and the Venue feels far more premium than before. The highlight of the cabin is the twin 12.3-inch curved displays – one for infotainment and the other serving as a fully digital instrument cluster. Powering the connected experience is NVIDIA’s integrated navigation system and the latest Hyundai BlueLink suite, which now offers over 70 connected features with OTA (over-the-air) updates. There’s also a Bose 8-speaker system, wireless smartphone integration (Apple CarPlay/Android Auto), ventilated front seats, a voice-controlled sunroof, blind-spot monitors, and even support for regional voice commands in five languages. Practical features such as a cooled glovebox, rear AC vents, wireless charger, remote engine start, and an embedded JioSaavn app further enhance convenience.

Safety has taken a major leap forward as well. The new Venue debuts Hyundai SmartSense ADAS (Level 2), bringing 16 advanced driver aids including Forward Collision Avoidance, Lane Keep Assist, and Smart Cruise Control. The SUV’s structure uses 71% high-strength steel, and Hyundai has equipped it with over 65 safety features, 33 of which are standard. These include six airbags, electronic stability control, hill-start assist, and all-wheel disc brakes.

Under the hood, the Venue continues with its familiar trio of powertrains – a 1.2-litre petrol (83hp/113Nm), a 1.0-litre turbo-petrol (120hp/172Nm), and a 1.5-litre turbo-diesel (116hp/250Nm). Transmission options include a 5-speed manual for the 1.2L, both manual and 7-speed DCT for the 1.0L turbo, and a manual gearbox for the diesel. For the first time, Hyundai will also offer the diesel engine with a 6-speed torque converter automatic, expanding its versatility.

Adding to the excitement, Hyundai is rolling out a fresh “HX” naming convention – short for Hyundai Experience. The petrol variants will be offered as HX2, HX4, HX5, HX6, HX6T, HX8, and HX10, while the diesel lineup will include HX2, HX5, HX7, and HX10.
