2025 Toyota Land Cruiser 300, GR-S launched in India: Gets a 3.3-litre twin-turbo V6 diesel!

Toyota Kirloskar Motor has launched the 2025 Land Cruiser 300 in the Indian market. The price for the SUV starts at Rs 2.31 crore (ex-showroom) and goes up to Rs 2.41 crore (ex-showroom). For reference, the 2025 Land Cruiser 300 costs Rs 21 lakh more than the outgoing model. This latest iteration also marks the Indian debut of the off-road-focused GR-S variant. Bookings for both the ZX and GR-S trims are now open, interested customers can book it online or by visiting their nearest dealership.

Talking about the engine first, the Land Cruiser 300 is powered by a 3.3-litre twin-turbo V6 diesel engine, producing 309 hp and 700 Nm of peak torque, engine comes paired with a 10-speed automatic torque converter transmission, which sends power to all four wheels.

The Land Cruiser 300 gets two colour options – Precious White Pearl and Attitude Black. In terms of design, it maintains its signature boxy stance, featuring a bold front grille with a chrome panel running across its width, positioned beneath horizontally slatted three-pod LED headlamps. The GR-S variant, in particular, stands out with blacked-out alloy wheels, GR badging, and a black-and-red interior theme.

Inside, the SUV is equipped with a 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system that supports Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a digital driver’s display, four-zone climate control, a sunroof, ventilated seats for both front and rear passengers, and an 8-way power-adjustable driver’s seat.

The SUV features front and rear differential locks, a rear limited-slip differential, hill-start assist, hill descent control, crawl control, multiple terrain modes, and an advanced four-camera off-road monitoring system. On the safety front, it comes with Level 2 ADAS, 10 airbags, a 360-degree camera, adaptive cruise control, lane-keeping assist, autonomous emergency braking, and adaptive headlights.
