Isuzu India has launched the updated Isuzu V Cross for the lifestyle pickup truck segment for the 2026 model year. The updated model features subtle design enhancements, a new alloy wheel design, and a few updates to the interior. The V Cross continues to cater to buyers who seek a combination of utility, off road capability, and everyday usability in a pickup truck format.
Isuzu V Max – Exterior Design
On the outside, the updated pickup largely remains unchanged in terms of its overall stance and proportions. The new additions include a black grille surround, redesigned 18 inch alloy wheels, black roof rails, and revised fog lamp bezels that give the pickup a tougher appearance. It also features bi LED projector headlamps with integrated DRLs along with ORVMs that come with LED turn indicators. The V Cross is offered in seven colour options: Silky White Pearl, Black Mica, Red Spinel Mica, Nautilus Blue, Galena Grey, Silver Metallic, and Splash White.

In terms of dimensions, the Isuzu V Cross measures 5.2 metres in length, 1.8 metres in width, and 1.7 metres in height. It has a wheelbase of 3095 mm. The pickup deck measures 1.4 metres in length, 1.5 metres in width, and 0.46 m in height which enhances its load carrying ability. The fuel tank capacity stands at 55 litres.
Isuzu V Cross – Interior Design and Features
Inside the cabin, the updated V Cross now features a larger 10.3 inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity. The interior also gets a 360 degree camera and a roof mounted sound system with eight speakers.

Other features include keyless entry, idle start stop system, a six way electrically adjustable driver seat, and a leather wrapped steering wheel. The seats are finished in a dark brown and black leatherette upholstery. Automatic climate control and a semi digital MID display are also part of the package. The rear bench comes with a 60 40 split folding function for improved practicality. Charging options include a Type C charger, a Type A charger, and a 12 volt outlet.

Isuzu V Cross – Powertrain and Mechanical Setup
Powering the pickup is a 1.9 litre turbo diesel engine that is BS6 Stage 2 compliant. It produces 161 horsepower and 360 Nm of torque. Transmission options include a six speed manual and a six speed automatic. The pickup truck is offered exclusively with a four wheel drive system across all variants.

In terms of suspension, the vehicle is equipped with an independent double wishbone coil spring suspension at the front, while the rear features a leaf spring suspension setup. This configuration is designed to balance ride comfort with load carrying capability and off road durability.
Isuzu V Cross – Safety Features
The V Cross is equipped with a tyre pressure monitoring system, blind spot monitoring system with camera, ABS with EBD, traction control system, and electronic stability control. It also comes with six airbags, hill descent control, hill start assist, three point seatbelts for all occupants, and ISOFIX child seat mounts.
Isuzu V Cross – Price and Variants
The updated V Cross is available in three variants. The four wheel drive manual Z variant is priced at Rs 25.5 lakh ex showroom. The four wheel drive manual Z Prestige variant is priced at Rs 26.99 lakh ex showroom. The four wheel drive automatic Z Prestige variant is priced at Rs 30.28 lakh ex showroom.

Isuzu V Cross – Market Positioning and Rivals
In the Indian lifestyle pickup segment, the primary rival to the Isuzu V Cross remains the Toyota Hilux. Both models are positioned as rugged lifestyle vehicles with strong off road credentials and dependable mechanicals. With the latest updates, the V Cross aims to further strengthen its appeal in this niche yet steadily growing segment.
