Suzuki Motorcycle India has launched the 2026 Suzuki Access with a single-channel Anti-Lock Braking System (ABS) in India. The update strengthens the brand’s 125cc scooter portfolio by adding a key safety feature to the Suzuki Access range.
Suzuki Access ABS – What’s New
The headline update on the Access is the introduction of single-channel ABS. Suzuki claim the system is designed to regulate brake pressure and help prevent wheel lock during sudden or hard braking situations, offering improved control and confidence in everyday riding conditions.

Suzuki Access – Engine and Performance
The Access continues with its proven 125cc single-cylinder, air-cooled petrol engine. The motor produces 8.4hp and 10.2Nm of torque, focusing on smooth power delivery and dependable performance. Suzuki has carried forward the same engine setup. Suzuki claims a fuel efficiency figure of approximately 45 kmpl, depending on riding conditions.

The Access with ABS is offered with Ride Connect technology, depending on the variant. Features include a digital or 4.2-inch TFT instrument cluster, Bluetooth connectivity, USB charging, and practical under-seat storage. The scooter is OBD2-compliant and has a kerb weight of 106 kg.

The TFT-equipped variant of the Access adds connected features such as turn-by-turn navigation with last parked location, alerts for weather, traffic and speed exceeding, and incoming caller ID with WhatsApp call and message notifications. These features are aimed at enhancing day-to-day convenience and overall ownership experience.

Suzuki Access – Market Positioning and Rivals
In the Indian 125cc scooter segment, the Suzuki Access with ABS goes up against rivals such as the Honda Activa 6G and TVS Jupiter. With the addition of ABS, Suzuki aims to reinforce the Access’s position as a reliable, practical, and safety-focused option for urban riders.
