CEAT makes custom tyres for Bujji; to be used in Kalki 2898AD movie

CEAT, a leading name in the tyre industry, has achieved a remarkable milestone by crafting custom-built tyres for Bujji, a colossal 6-tonne futuristic vehicle set to star in the highly anticipated sci-fi action film, Kalki 2898AD. This project exemplifies CEAT’s innovative spirit and its ability to deliver cutting-edge solutions for the most advanced automotive designs.

The Bujji vehicle, engineered by Mahindra and Jayem Motors, boasts impressive dimensions: 6075 mm in length, 3380 mm in width, and 2186 mm in height. With a kerb weight of 6 tonnes and a formidable torque of 9800 nm, along with unique features such as a canopy and hubless wheels, it demanded tyres that could match its extraordinary engineering.

CEAT’s custom-built tyres align perfectly with its vision of ‘Crafting For The Curious,’ highlighting the brand’s dedication to pushing the boundaries of exploration and innovation. These tyres are meticulously designed to handle both instant torque and precise cornering in diverse driving conditions.

Featuring the industry’s lowest aspect ratio, they not only enhance the vehicle’s aesthetic appeal but also significantly improve braking performance due to their wider design and larger rim fitment. The block design with a circular support base ensures superior traction and stability, while the specially optimized shoulder design enhances cornering capabilities. Additionally, the steel-belted construction provides exceptional stability and puncture resistance, crucial for meeting the high-performance demands of the Bujji vehicle.

CEAT’s involvement in this groundbreaking project underscores its commitment to excellence and its ability to meet the challenges of futuristic automotive innovation
