Skoda Kylaq introductory prices extended till April end

Skoda Auto India has extended the introductory pricing for the Kylaq sub-compact SUV until April 30, 2025. The model, launched on November 6, 2024, was initially priced to remain unchanged until the Kushaq reached 33,333 bookings. The Kylaq is available in four variants—Classic, Signature, Signature Plus, and Prestige—with prices starting at ₹7.89 lakh (ex-showroom).

The Signature MT and AT variants cost ₹9.59 lakh and ₹10.59 lakh, respectively. The Signature Plus MT is available for ₹11.40 lakh, and its AT version is ₹12.40 lakh. The top Prestige trim is priced at ₹13.35 lakh for the MT and ₹14.4 lakh for the AT (all ex-showroom prices).

The SUV comes equipped with an 8.0-inch digital instrument cluster, a 10.0-inch touchscreen with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, connected car technology, powered front seats, a single-pane sunroof, ventilated seats, ambient lighting, and a six-speaker Canton audio system. Safety features include six airbags, ABS with EBD, traction control, ISOFIX mounts, three-point seatbelts for all passengers, and a reverse parking camera with sensors.

Built on the MQB-A0-IN platform, the Kylaq measures under four meters, competing with the Hyundai Venue, Kia Sonet, Tata Nexon, and Maruti Suzuki Brezza. It has a length of 3,995 mm, a width of 1,975 mm, a height of 1,575 mm, a wheelbase of 2,566 mm, and a ground clearance of 189 mm.

The Kylaq is powered by a 1.0-litre, three-cylinder turbo petrol engine producing 115 hp and 178 Nm of torque. Transmission options include a six-speed manual and a six-speed torque converter automatic. This engine is also used in the Skoda Kushaq, Slavia, Volkswagen Virtus, and Taigun.
