Kush Maini, India’s Formula 2 race winner, has also been announced as the ambassador for this edition. The BE 6 Formula E Edition is the second special edition of the BE 6. Earlier this year, Mahindra introduced the BE6 Batman Edition, developed through an official collaboration with Warner Bros.

Mahindra BE 6 Formula E Edition – Exterior Design

The Mahindra BE 6 Formula E Edition receives notable styling changes designed to distinguish it from the standard BE 6. The exterior is shaped around a motorsport theme with a new signature front bumper, circular projector headlamps, gloss-black bezels, and contrasting Firestorm Orange accents. The SUV is available in four colours: Everest White, Firestorm Orange, Tango Red, and Stealth Black.

Race-inspired R20 alloy wheels, dark-tinted finish, Firestorm Orange brake callipers, and Formula E-themed decals are part of the package. The fixed glass roof features a 12-stripe graphic, complemented by roof and boot spoilers. FIA branding appears on the windscreen and lower cladding, while the “BE 6Formula E” badge is positioned at the rear. Skid plates with a liquid-metal finish and a ceramic-paint “Mahindra Formula E” branding on the windscreen round off the package.

Mahindra BE 6 Formula E Edition – Interior Design

Inside, the Mahindra BE 6 Formula E Edition continues the motorsport-inspired theme. The cabin is finished in a Firestorm Orange colour scheme with contrast detailing on the steering wheel, in-touch controller, parking brake switch, and seat belts. A Formula E edition plaque sits on the dashboard, while the seats carry embossed branding. The SUV features translucent door inserts, a race-car-style start/stop flap, and a custom startup animation exclusive to this edition.

Mahindra has carried the theme consistently through the cabin. The Mahindra BE 6 Formula E Edition includes leatherette and suede upholstery, soft-touch interior surfaces, and a dynamic speaker grille pattern. The dashboard integrates dual 12.3-inch displays powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8155 chipset, offering wireless Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, and 5G connectivity.

The audio is handled by a 16-speaker Harman/Kardon audio system supports Dolby Atmos, and the in-car system includes OTT, social media, and news apps. Additional tech includes wireless charging, cabin pre-cooling, the Me4U connected-car suite, and built-in Amazon Alexa. Convenience features include auto headlamps, rain-sensing wipers, a cooled console, BYOD mounting points, and 65W Type-C fast-charging ports.

Marking the occasion, Mahindra has also introduced the BE 6 Formula E Edition Ride-On—a race-themed toddler EV.
