The all-new Mini Countryman C has been launched in India by the BMW Group at an introductory price of Rs 47.50 lakh (ex-showroom). The latest generation Countryman marks an important milestone for the brand as it is now being locally produced at BMW Group Plant Chennai. Bookings for the SUV are open across all authorised Mini dealerships, while deliveries have commenced immediately.
Mini Countryman C – Exterior Design
The new Mini Countryman C adopts a more upright stance and cleaner design language compared to its predecessor. It features an octagonal grille along with adaptive LED headlights and redesigned matrix LED tail lamps. Customers can also personalise the front and rear light signatures.

Champagne finish accents on the grille surround, front and rear skid plates, Mini logos and Countryman lettering add a premium touch. The SUV rides on 19 inch dual tone alloy wheels.
In terms of dimensions, the Countryman C measures 4,447 mm in length, 1,843 mm in width and 1,661 mm in height. It has a wheelbase of 2,692 mm and offers 190 mm of ground clearance. Buyers can choose from five exterior colour options along with a contrasting roof finish.
Mini Countryman C – Interior Design and Features
Inside, the Countryman C follows Mini’s minimalist design approach. The cabin gets a dual tone dashboard along with circular design elements throughout. Textile finished dashboard panels and door trims give the cabin a unique look, while electrically adjustable JCW Sports seats finished in Vescin upholstery add to the premium appeal.

At the centre of the dashboard is a 9.4 inch circular OLED touchscreen that controls infotainment and vehicle functions. Other notable features include a head up display, Harman Kardon 12 speaker sound system, panoramic glass roof, wireless phone charging, powered front seats, 360 degree camera and parking assist. The driver’s seat also gets a massage function.

Rear seat occupants benefit from sliding seats that can move by up to 130 mm and recline by 25 degrees. Boot capacity stands at 505 litres and can be expanded to 1,450 litres with the rear seats folded. Additional features include connected car technology, ambient lighting, Mini Digital Key Plus and eight selectable Mini Experience drive modes.
Mini Countryman C – Powertrain and Safety
Powering the Countryman C is a 1.5 litre three cylinder turbo petrol engine producing 156 hp and 240 Nm of torque. The engine is paired with a seven speed dual clutch automatic gearbox, sending power to the front wheels. Mini claims a 0 to 100 kmph time of 9 seconds and a top speed of 212 kmph.
On the safety front, the SUV comes equipped with several ADAS functions including front collision warning, lane departure warning, attentiveness assist, active pedestrian protection and reversing assist. It has also secured a five star Euro NCAP safety rating.

Standard safety equipment includes front and side curtain airbags, Brake Assist, Dynamic Stability Control, Anti lock Braking System, Cornering Brake Control, crash sensor, rear view camera and tyre pressure monitoring system. It also gets an integrated emergency spare wheel beneath the load floor and a 60 litre fuel tank.

Available exclusively in the fully loaded Favoured Pack trim, the all-new Mini Countryman C is priced at Rs 47.50 lakh (ex-showroom). With local assembly helping improve pricing, the SUV sits in the premium compact luxury segment.
