Kia India has announced a price hike of up to 2% across its entire model range, effective from 1 July 2026. The latest price revision will apply to all vehicles sold by Kia India, including internal combustion and electric models. The company currently sells the Sonet, Syros, Seltos, Carens, Carens Clavis, Carnival, EV6 and EV9 in the Indian market.

Kia India Says Increase Kept To Minimum

Kia India stated that it has made efforts to keep the increase as low as possible despite higher manufacturing and operational expenses. The company added that maintaining the value proposition of each product remains a priority.

The extent of the price increase will vary depending on the model and variant. Although Kia India has not disclosed exact figures, we expect the increase to start from around Rs 14,000 for the entry level Kia Sonet compact SUV. At the other end of the range, the flagship Kia EV9 electric SUV, which is imported into India through the Completely Built Unit route, could see a price increase of around Rs 2.6 lakh.

Kia India Portfolio Covers Multiple Segments

Kia India currently has a presence across several segments in the country. The Sonet and Syros competes in the compact SUV segment, while the Seltos caters to buyers looking for a midsize SUV. The Carens, Carens Clavis (EV and ICE) and Carnival serve the MPV segment, while the EV6 and EV6 are the CBU electric offerings from the brand.

The company has not announced any additional changes to specifications or features along with the price revision. Existing products and variants are expected to continue unchanged, with only prices being revised from 1 July 2026. Customers planning to purchase a Kia vehicle may benefit from booking before the revised prices come into effect.
