Honda launches 2026 Hornet, Transalp, Gold Wing and Fireblade SP: Full details

Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India (HMSI) has introduced its 2026 premium motorcycle portfolio, strengthening its BigWing line up across multiple segments. The latest range includes the CB750 Hornet E Clutch and XL750 Transalp E Clutch, both featuring Honda’s new E Clutch technology on the 755cc platform. Alongside these updates, the Gold Wing is now offered in a new colour option, while the CBR1000RR R Fireblade SP continues as the brand’s flagship supersport motorcycle. With this move, Honda continues to expand its presence across street naked, adventure touring, luxury touring and high performance categories in India.

Honda CB750 Hornet E Clutch

The CB750 Hornet E Clutch marks a significant update to Honda’s middleweight street naked platform. The addition of E Clutch technology brings added convenience and ease of use, especially in urban riding conditions while also supporting spirited riding. Powering the motorcycle is a 755cc parallel twin engine producing 91 hp and 75 Nm of torque.

The setup is tuned to offer strong performance along with a responsive character suited for both city roads and winding routes. Hardware includes Showa 41 mm SFF BP USD front forks, dual 296 mm front disc brakes, and a 5.0 inch full colour TFT display with Honda RoadSync connectivity. Multiple riding modes further enhance rider control, making the Hornet a balanced offering that combines performance with everyday usability.

Honda XL750 Transalp E Clutch

The XL750 Transalp E Clutch brings the same E Clutch technology to Honda’s adventure touring platform. Designed for versatility, the motorcycle is aimed at riders looking for a machine capable of handling a wide range of riding conditions. It is powered by the same 755cc parallel twin engine delivering 91 hp of power and 75 Nm of torque.

The Transalp features a 5.0 inch TFT display with Honda RoadSync, Showa SFF CA USD front suspension, and multiple riding modes including a dedicated Gravel mode. The dual LED headlamp setup adds to its distinctive design while supporting its touring functionality. With a focus on comfort, capability and ease of use, the XL750 Transalp continues to strengthen Honda’s position in the adventure touring segment.

Honda Gold Wing

The Gold Wing continues to represent the brand’s legacy in luxury touring and is now available in a new colour option for 2026. Built for long distance comfort, the motorcycle is powered by an 1833cc liquid cooled horizontally opposed six cylinder engine. It is paired with a 7 speed Dual Clutch Transmission that also features reverse and walking speed modes for improved low speed manoeuvrability.

The Gold Wing continues to offer premium features such as an electronically adjustable windscreen, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, an advanced audio system, and an airbag for enhanced safety. These features reinforce its position as a flagship touring motorcycle designed for comfort and refinement.

Honda CBR1000RR R Fireblade SP

The CBR1000RR R Fireblade SP continues as the brand’s flagship supersport motorcycle with a focus on performance. It is powered by a 1000cc inline four cylinder engine producing 215 hp and 113 Nm of torque. The motorcycle is equipped with top tier components including Ohlins Smart EC 3.0 suspension, Brembo Stylema R front brake calipers with 330 mm dual discs, and an Akrapovic titanium exhaust system. A 5.0 inch full colour TFT display provides essential rider information, completing a package that is engineered for track focused performance.

Honda Premium Motorcycles – Price and Colour Option Details

The brand has also announced the pricing and colour options for its 2026 premium motorcycle portfolio in India. The CB750 Hornet E Clutch is offered in Graphite Black at an ex showroom price of Rs 10,49,000. The XL750 Transalp E Clutch is available in Ross White and Pearl Deep Mud Gray, priced at Rs 13,20,000. The Gold Wing is offered in Gun Metal Black Metallic at Rs 44,30,000, while the CBR1000RR R Fireblade SP is available in Grand Prix Red at Rs 33,50,000. All prices are ex showroom.
