While Honda has not officially revealed any specifications about the Elevate, it is likely to use the same 1.5L 4 cylinder NA engine as its sibling. This unit produces 121HP and 145NM of torque which could be mated to either a 6 speed manual or a CVT automatic transmission. It could also receive a hybrid powertrain at a later stage. There will be no diesel option available.

As we can see from the teaser, the Elevate will receive a regular-sized sunroof and not a panoramic one. However, Honda could also provide ADAS functionality on the top variant along with other goodies such as a digital instrument cluster, lane watch camera, Auto dimming IRVM, wireless phone charger etc.
Timelines haven’t been declared but expect the new Elevate SUV to be launched somewhere in August with deliveries starting in September. When launched, it will compete with rivals such as the Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Volkswagen Taigun and Skoda Kushaq among others.
