The Knight Edition gives the Exter a blacked-out theme

Hyundai has yet again launched a Knight Edition, this time on their smallest crossover Exter. As before, the Knight Edition brings forward extensive but cosmetic changes with a blacked-out theme inside out. While prices start at Rs. 8.38 Lakhs, it becomes the third SUV in the Hyundai lineup after the Creta and Venue to receive this treatment.
Hyundai Exter Knight Edition; What’s new
Hyundai has given the Knight Edition a blacked-out theme on the outside. This includes blacked-out skid plates at the front and rear, black badges all around. The 15 inch diamond-cut alloys on the top variant also get finished in black as do the sill plates. There are also red accents on the front and rear bumpers while the brake callipers also come finished in red. You also get an exclusive Knight Edition badge. Hyundai has also added 3 new colours in addition to the existing palette including Abyss Black, Shadow Grey with the latter also available with a dual-tone black roof as well.
Inside, the black theme is carried over with the dashboard and seats now getting finished in black with red accents. The steering and door handles also get the black theme. Hyundai has also added red footwell lighting and floor mats with red stitching.
The equipment list remains unchanged and it gets features such as an electric sunroof, digital instrument cluster, wireless smartphone charger, cruise control and an 8 inch touchscreen infotainment system and more. Under the hood, it remains unchanged and is powered by a 1.2L four-cylinder petrol engine mated to either a 5 speed MT or 5 speed AMT transmissions. This engine develops 82HP and 113NM of torque.
In terms of pricing, the Exter starts at a price of Rs. 8.38 Lakhs (Ex-showroom). The detailed price list is given below-
