Jeep India has rolled out the Jeep Compass and Meridian Trail Edition SUVs, adding new styling and limited-run exclusivity to its existing lineup. These new editions, based on the Compass Longitude (O) and Meridian Limited (O) variants, are now available for booking both online and at Jeep dealerships nationwide, starting July 15, 2025. Jeep India had most recently launched the Wrangler Willys 41 Edition which was limited 30 units.
Jeep Compass and Meridian Trail Edition – Design Enhancements
The Jeep Compass and Meridian Trail Edition models bring rugged cosmetic upgrades aimed at enhancing their off-road character. The Compass Trail Edition sports 18-inch Granite Metallic dual-tone alloys, matte black accents on the grille rings, ORVMs, roof rail inserts, and distinctive Trail Edition decals and badging. Red contrast elements complete the bold new exterior.
The Jeep Compass and Meridian Trail Edition also sees the Meridian getting the signature hood decal, trail edition badging, high-gloss black roof, neutral grey accents on the grille, headlamp surround, roof rail inserts, rear fascia valence, badges and side cladding. Additionally, it gets piano black accents on fog lamp surrounds, ORVMs, rear light at moulding and more.
Jeep Compass and Meridian Trail Edition – Interior and Features
Step inside, and the Jeep Compass and Meridian Trail Edition interiors are equipped with black leatherette (Compass) and vinyl (Meridian) upholstery paired with Ignite red stitching and camouflage-themed appliqués. The Compass adds red accents to the steering wheel, gear boot, and dashboard, while the Meridian gets piano black inserts, red-accented speaker surrounds, and trail-branded scuff plates.
On the feature front, the Jeep Compass and Meridian Trail Edition it remains similar to the standard Compass and Meridian. The Compass includes a 10.1-inch Uconnect 5 infotainment system, 7-inch digital cluster, 6-speaker sound system, push-button start/stop, rear camera, cruise control, and dual-zone climate control.
Meanwhile, the Meridian Trail Edition goes all out with a panoramic sunroof, ventilated front seats, a 10.2-inch digital display, powered front seats with memory, connected car tech, a 9-speaker Alpine audio system, 360-degree camera, powered tailgate, and third-row AC vents.
Jeep Compass and Meridian Trail Edition – Powertrain and Gearbox
The Jeep Compass and Meridian Trail Edition continues with the tried-and-tested Fiat-sourced 2.0-litre four-cylinder diesel engine producing 170 hp and 370 Nm of torque. Buyers can choose between a 6-speed manual and a 9-speed automatic transmission. While both Compass Trail variants are limited to 4×2, the Meridian Trail Edition AT variant is offered with Jeep’s 4×4 system with multiple terrain modes and a dedicated low-range mode, enhancing its adventure-readiness.

The Jeep Compass and Meridian Trail Edition is attractively priced for enthusiasts looking for visual drama with daily usability. Prices for the Compass Trail Edition start at ₹25.4 lakh (ex-showroom), while the Meridian Trail Edition begins at ₹31.27 lakh (ex-showroom). Both models are being offered in manual and automatic variants, with the added 4×4 option exclusive to the Meridian AT.
