KTM India Kicks Off KTM Cup Season 3 in Bangalore: Details

KTM India organized the opening round of KTM Cup Season 3 in Bangalore on 2 February 2026. The event marked the start of the third season of the single make racing championship and served as the first state level round of the series. The Bangalore round brought together aspiring racers, KTM owners, and motorsport enthusiasts for a full day of competitive riding and structured evaluations.

KTM India Cup Season 3 – Details

The Bangalore round of KTM Cup Season 3 followed a clear and competitive format designed to test rider ability across multiple sessions. KTM India ensured that the event maintained strict evaluation standards, allowing riders to progress based on lap times and riding discipline. Each session was conducted under controlled conditions, giving participants equal opportunity to demonstrate their skills.

More than 200 riders participated in the opening round, competing across multiple timed sessions and skill based assessments. Riders were evaluated on riding control, consistency, and overall performance on track. The event attracted strong interest from motorsport followers, reinforcing Bangalore’s position as an active center for performance motorcycling supported by KTM. At the conclusion of the event, the top 40 riders secured qualification for the next round of KTM Cup Season 3.

The event also featured a live stunt performance by international KTM stunt rider Rok Bagoros. His performance added to the overall engagement at the venue and drew attention from attendees throughout the day. KTM used the Bangalore round to set the tone for the upcoming rounds of the championship, which will be held across four cities. The event highlighted KTM India’s continued focus on organized racing activities and rider development through competitive platforms and  also served as a gathering point for riders and fans closely associated with KTM India motorsport initiatives.

KTM India positioned the Bangalore round as an important selection stage within the championship structure. Riders who qualified from this round will continue to compete in subsequent stages as they progress toward the final rounds. The brand also announced that MotoGP legend Dani Pedrosa will meet riders during the Qualifier and Finale rounds. The Season 3 winners will earn an all-expenses-paid trip to the Austria Grand Prix, including pit access and a visit to the KTM Motohall in Mattighofen.

The range includes 5 Naked bikes under the Duke category, 2 Sports bikes from the RC series, 5 Adventure motorcycles, 5 Motocross dirt bikes, 1 Enduro dirt bike, and 1 Dualsport dirt bike. This lineup allows KTM to address different riding requirements across street, touring, and off road use.

Prices for KTM bikes in India start at ₹1,70,545 for the KTM 160 Duke, making it the most affordable model offered by KTM. At the top end of the range, the KTM 1390 Super Duke R is priced at ₹22,95,800. This motorcycle is the highest performance offering currently available from KTM.
