Lexus LC500h facelift launched at Rs. 2.39 Cr.

Features slight changes to interiors and tech

  • Tweaked infotainment system
  • New alloy wheels

Lexus India has launched an updated version of their flagship two-door coupe- the LC500h. It is now priced at Rs. 2.39 Cr. and gets minor changes inside.

Lexus LC500h Features

Lexus has made some small but noticeable changes inside. These include a new 12.3 inch touchscreen infotainment system which has also been slightly brought forward for better visibility. The new system features a touchscreen operation as opposed to the older trackpad which was known to be difficult to use on the move. Lexus has also changed the layout of various buttons in the centre console to offer better usability.

Besides this, there have been no further changes to the interior which remain classy and sleek with generous use of premium materials such as brushed aluminium and leather.

Lexus LC500h Exterior and Powertrain

Outside, the new LC500h gets a new design for its 21 inch alloy wheels with a 3D machined finish. Lexus also claims to have very slightly updated the grille to conceal the front camera.

Specifications under the hood remain the same and it gets powered by a 3.5L naturally-aspirated V6 Petrol engine which is paired with an electric motor and a lithium-ion battery in a strong hybrid format. This combination produces a total output of 354HP and 350NM of torque. Power is sent to the rear wheels via a unique automatic transmission which combines a 4 speed torque converter and a CVT gearbox. Lexus claims a 0-100Kmph time of 4.7 seconds.

The LC500h rivals other exotic coupes such as the Porsche 911, Jaguar F-Type and the upcoming Mercedes-Benz SL55 AMG set to launch next month.
