Mahindra & Mahindra has officially relaunched the Mahindra BE 6 Batman Edition, bringing back one of the most talked about special edition electric SUVs in India. The BE 6 Batman Edition was first introduced in August 2025 as a limited production model and it sold out in just 135 seconds. The company had initially planned only 300 units.
The response pushed Mahindra to increase production to 999 units. The BE 6 Batman Edition now returns with a price increase of ₹70,000 and is priced at ₹28.49 lakh ex showroom. Bookings for the Mahindra BE6 Batman Edition will open on March 10 for a limited period of 24 hours. Deliveries are scheduled to begin from April 20, 2026.
Mahindra BE 6 Batman Edition – Exterior Design
The exterior design of the BE 6 Batman Edition focuses on a dark themed visual identity inspired by the iconic superhero. The SUV is finished in a custom satin black paint scheme that gives it a stealthy appearance. A Batman decal is placed prominently on the front doors which immediately distinguishes the Batman Edition from the standard model. The vehicle rides on 20 inch alloy wheels with contrasting gold painted brake callipers.
At the rear there is a limited edition BE6 x The Dark Knight badge that highlights the collaboration. The bat emblem appears in several locations including the hubcaps, front quarter panels, rear bumper, windows, rear windshield and even the panoramic sunroof. The puddle lamps project the bat emblem onto the ground which resembles a bat signal during night time.
Mahindra BE 6 Batman Edition – Interior Design
Inside the cabin the BE 6 Batman Edition receives a unique design treatment that continues the theme. The dashboard carries a brushed gold plaque that displays the individual unit number of the vehicle. The cabin uses charcoal leather combined with brushed gold accents, suede and leather upholstery and gold stitching. The bat emblem appears on the seats, on the boost button and on interior labels. Gold detailing is also present on the steering wheel, the touch controller and the electronic parking brake.
The BE 6 Batman Edition also receives a custom key fob. A pinstripe graphic runs across the passenger side dashboard while the infotainment system shows a themed welcome animation. Feature equipment in the Batman Edition remains identical to the top specification Pack 3 variant on which the vehicle is based. The dashboard includes dual 12.3 inch displays that function as the infotainment screen and the driver display.
Connectivity features include wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay along with 5G connectivity. The system also supports a bring your own device in car experience with several pre installed OTT, social media, news and shopping applications. A dual wireless charging pad is also available. Audio is handled by a 16 speaker Harman Kardon system that supports Dolby Atmos along with sonic zones and virtual engine sound modes.
Mahindra BE 6 Batman Edition – Battery Pack and Range
Performance specifications of the Mahindra BE 6 Batman Edition remain unchanged since it is based on the Pack 3 variant. The electric SUV uses a 79 kWh battery pack that delivers a certified MIDC range of 683 km. The power output stands at 282 horsepower and the vehicle accelerates from 0 to 100 km per hour in 6.7 seconds. Fast charging support allows the battery to charge from 20 percent to 80 percent in around 20 minutes using a 175 kW DC fast charger. Mahindra also offers home AC charging options rated at 7.2 kW and 11.2 kW.
Mahindra BE 6 Batman Edition – Safety Features
Safety features in the Batman Edition include the same equipment that is available on the standard BE6. The package includes Level 2 ADAS supported by five radars and one vision camera. Key systems include auto lane change, lane centering assist, emergency steering assist and blind spot detection. The SUV also offers front and rear cross traffic alert, a 360 degree camera system, blind view monitor and driver drowsiness detection. Additional safety equipment includes rear parking sensors, an automatic defogger and tyre pressure monitoring.

The Mahindra BE 6 Batman Edition represents a unique approach to special edition vehicles in the Indian electric SUV segment. Bookings for Batman Edition will open on March 10th and will remain open for a limited window of 24 hours. Customers who successfully place an order during this period are expected to receive deliveries starting April 20th, 2026.
