Nissan India has launched the much awaited Nissan Tekton mid size SUV at a starting price of Rs 10.49 lakh (ex showroom). It is Nissan’s badge engineered version of the Renault Duster. Bookings for the mid size SUV are now open, while customer deliveries will begin from July 20th.
Buyers can choose between a 100 hp 1.0 litre turbo petrol engine paired with a 6 speed manual gearbox or a more powerful 163 hp 1.3 litre turbo petrol engine that is offered with either a 6 speed manual gearbox or a 6 speed dual clutch automatic transmission. Adding to its appeal, the Nissan Tekton has earned a 5 star Bharat NCAP safety rating, making safety one of its biggest highlights.
The Nissan Tekton is the brand’s second product launch this year after the Gravite compact MPV, which made its debut in February. Nissan has also confirmed that it will introduce another new product by the end of the first quarter of next year as part of its renewed product strategy for the Indian market.

Nissan Tekton variant wise features – Visia
The base Visia is priced at Rs 10.49 lakh and is powered by the 100 hp 1.0 litre turbo petrol engine paired with a 6 speed manual gearbox. It is available in Onyx Black, Blade Silver and Pearl White, all in monotone finishes.

Despite being the entry level variant, the Visia comes well equipped with automatic LED headlamps, LED DRLs, LED tail lights, LED turn indicators on the ORVMs, 17 inch steel wheels, roof spoiler, body coloured ORVMs and door handles, front and rear skid plates and a frameless wiper.
Safety features include six airbags, ABS with EBD, ESC, traction control, hill start assist, TPMS and rear parking sensors.

Inside, it gets rear AC vents, tilt and telescopic steering adjustment, a 7 inch digital instrument display, manual AC, four power windows with one touch up and down function, electrically adjustable ORVMs, height adjustable driver seat, sliding front armrest, soft touch dashboard trim, a four speaker Arkamys audio system, idle start stop, a 12V power socket and speed and impact sensing door unlock.
Nissan Tekton variant wise features – Visia+
Priced at Rs 11.14 lakh, the Visia+ continues with the same 100 hp 1.0 litre turbo petrol engine and 6 speed manual gearbox. Colour options remain limited to Onyx Black, Blade Silver and Pearl White, all in monotone.

Over the Visia, it adds a 9 inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Android Auto, wireless Apple CarPlay, steering mounted audio controls and a rear view camera with dynamic guidelines. For buyers who want smartphone connectivity and a touchscreen without spending much more, the Visia+ is a worthwhile upgrade.
Nissan Tekton variant wise features – Acenta
The Acenta is priced from Rs 11.79 lakh for the 1.0 litre turbo petrol manual and goes up to Rs 14.99 lakh for the 163 hp 1.3 litre turbo petrol paired with the 6 speed dual clutch automatic.It is available in Onyx Black, Blade Silver, Flare Garnet Red and Pearl White, all in monotone finishes.

Features added over the Visia+ include a larger 10.1 inch touchscreen infotainment system, roof rails, shark fin antenna, smart key, push button start, walk away lock, approach unlock, rear defogger, rear wiper and washer, 60:40 split rear seats, rear centre armrest, front Type C charging ports, parcel tray, welcome and goodbye lighting animation and a full size spare wheel.

The automatic version further gets cruise control, electronic parking brake with auto hold, paddle shifters and rear disc brakes. The Acenta offers a noticeable jump in convenience features and is also the entry point to the more powerful 1.3 litre turbo petrol engine.
Nissan Tekton variant wise features – N Connecta
The N Connecta is priced between Rs 13.69 lakh and Rs 16.49 lakh. It is offered with the 100 hp 1.0 litre turbo petrol manual, the 163 hp 1.3 litre turbo petrol manual at Rs 14.99 lakh and the 163 hp turbo petrol dual clutch automatic at Rs 16.49 lakh.

Colour choices expand to Onyx Black, Blade Silver, Flare Garnet Red, Indigo Blue and Pearl White, all in monotone.

This variant adds connected LED headlamps and tail lights, front and rear fog lamps, panoramic sunroof, 18 inch alloy wheels, dual zone automatic climate control, auto folding ORVMs, auto dimming IRVM, wireless charger with cooling on the DCT, a 10.25 inch digital instrument cluster, blue semi leatherette upholstery, leather wrapped steering wheel, six speaker Arkamys surround sound system, acoustic windshield, illuminated vanity mirrors, remote SmartCard window and sunroof control, rear Type C charging ports, puddle lamps, a trunk mounted 12V socket and a cooled centre console on the DCT.
Nissan Tekton variant wise features – Tekna
The Tekna is priced from Rs 15.39 lakh to Rs 17.79 lakh. Buyers can choose between the 1.0 litre turbo petrol manual, the 1.3 litre turbo petrol manual priced at Rs 16.39 lakh and the 1.3 litre turbo petrol DCT priced at Rs 17.79 lakh.
It is available in Onyx Black, Blade Silver, Flare Garnet Red, Indigo Blue, Moonbow Gray and Pearl White, all in monotone.

Over the N Connecta, it adds diamond cut 18 inch alloy wheels, rain sensing wipers, air purifier, six way powered driver seat, ventilated front seats, ambient lighting, dual drive modes, dual steering modes, blue leatherette upholstery and hill descent control.
It also brings a comprehensive ADAS suite that includes blind spot warning, traffic sign recognition, autonomous emergency braking, adaptive cruise control with stop and go on the DCT, lane departure warning, lane keep assist, driver drowsiness warning, automatic high beam assist, speed limiter and distance warning.

Other additions include front, rear and side parking assist, remote engine start, remote lock and unlock, remote horn and lights, remote vehicle status, “My Nissan” connected car technology for three years and Find My Car.
Nissan Tekton variant wise features – Tekna+
The Tekna+ sits at the top of the Nissan Tekton range and is priced from Rs 16.49 lakh to Rs 18.59 lakh. It is available with the 1.0 litre turbo petrol manual and the 163 hp 1.3 litre turbo petrol DCT.

Unlike every other variant, the Tekna+ is available in both monotone and dual tone colour options with a black roof. Colour choices include Onyx Black, Blade Silver, Flare Garnet Red, Indigo Blue, Moonbow Gray and Pearl White.

It adds a powered tailgate, six way powered front seats, premium leatherette upholstery with contrasting accents, a 360 degree camera, a 10.1 inch Google based infotainment system, over the air software updates and map display in the driver’s instrument cluster.
