2026 Skoda Kushaq Facelift Variants Explained: Which One Should You Buy

The Skoda Kushaq facelift has been launched in India at a starting price of Rs 10.69 lakh ex showroom, with bookings now open and deliveries expected to begin shortly. This mid cycle update brings revised features and a more streamlined variant lineup. The Kushaq is offered in five variants which include Classic Plus, Signature, Sportline, Prestige and Monte Carlo. Buyers can choose between a 1.0 litre turbo petrol and a 1.5 litre turbo petrol engine.

The 1.0 litre unit produces 115 hp and 178 Nm of torque, it is available with a 6 speed manual and a new 8 speed automatic torque converter. The 1.5 litre turbo petrol produces 150 hp and 250 Nm of torque and is paired only with a 7 speed DSG, with the manual option now discontinued.

Skoda Kushaq facelift – Classic Plus

The Classic Plus variant serves as the entry point into the Kushaq range and is offered with the 1 litre turbo petrol engine in both manual and automatic options. Prices start at Rs 10.69 lakh for the manual and go up to Rs 12.69 lakh for the automatic. It comes equipped with a 7 inch touchscreen infotainment system with wired Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a 6 speaker audio system and an analogue instrument cluster. Other features include a single pane sunroof, automatic climate control with air purifier and rear AC vents, LED headlamps and DRLs, powered ORVMs, LED tail lamps and 16 inch alloy wheels.

The cabin gets fabric upholstery, a leatherette wrapped steering wheel in the automatic, and a sliding front armrest. Safety is covered with six airbags, ESC, ABS, traction control, ISOFIX mounts and rear parking sensors. The automatic variant additionally offers paddle shifters, cruise control, fog lamps with cornering function and hill hold assist. This variant is available in five colours including Carbon Steel, Lava Blue, Candy White, Brilliant Silver and Cherry Red.

Skoda Kushaq facelift – Signature 

The Signature variant is priced between Rs 14.49 lakh and Rs 15.59 lakh and builds on the Classic Plus with several feature additions. It gets an 8 inch digital driver display and a larger 10.1 inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless connectivity. Convenience features include a 15W wireless charger, USB C ports for front and rear passengers, keyless entry and electrically folding ORVMs.

It also adds LED fog lamps, an illuminated front grille strip, a rear LED light bar with Skoda lettering and 17 inch alloy wheels. Safety and practicality improve with a tyre pressure monitoring system, rear parking camera, front and rear parking sensors and hill hold assist across both transmissions. Inside, it features ambient lighting, leather wrapped controls and improved storage options. The Signature variant is offered in six colours including the addition of Deep Black.

The Sportline variant continues with the same powertrain options as the Signature, it is priced at Rs. 14.74 lakh for the manual and Rs 15.79 lakhs for the automatic. It carries forward all features of the Signature while introducing 17 inch black alloy wheels, Sportline badging and a gloss black trunk garnish. The cabin gets an all black theme with carbon steel matte dashboard trim and aluminium pedals. This variant is aimed at buyers looking for a sportier aesthetic without compromising on features. It is offered in a wider palette that includes Carbon Steel, Lava Blue, Deep Black, Candy White, Brilliant Silver, Cherry Red, Shimla Green and Steel Grey.

The Prestige variant sits higher in the lineup and is available with both engine options. Prices are Rs 16.79 lakh for the 1.0 manual, Rs 17.59 lakh for the 1.0 automatic and Rs 18.79 lakh for the 1.5 DSG. This trim introduces several premium features including a panoramic sunroof which is a first for the Kushaq. It also gets powered and ventilated front seats. This variant of the Kushaq also introduces rear seats with massage function, which is a first in this segment.

The audio system is upgraded with a subwoofer and amplifier. Additional features include an anti theft alarm, footwell lighting and chrome exterior accents. The interior shifts to a black and beige theme with beige leatherette upholstery and softer materials. This variant is available in all eight colour options including the new Shimla Green, Cherry Red and Steel Grey.

Skoda Kushaq facelift – Monte Carlo

The Monte Carlo is the top of the line variant of the Skoda Kushaq and is offered only with automatic transmissions. It is priced at Rs 17.89 lakh for the 1.0 litre automatic and Rs 18.99 lakh for the 1.5 litre DSG. This variant builds on the Prestige with a sportier design package. It features 17 inch dual tone alloy wheels, dark chrome exterior accents, red highlights on the grille and red brake calipers on the 1.5 litre version.

The cabin follows a black and red theme with red stitching across the steering wheel, seats and armrests. It also gets Monte Carlo badging and a red themed interface for the driver display and infotainment system. Colour options include Lava Blue, Deep Black and multiple dual tone shades such as Candy White, Brilliant Silver, Cherry Red, Shimla Green and Steel Grey with a black roof.
