Powering the sedan is a 2.0-litre TSI turbo-petrol engine that produces 265 hp and 370 Nm of torque, mated to a 7-speed DSG automatic gearbox. Skoda claims the car can dash from 0 to 100 km/h in 6.6 seconds and achieve a top speed of 250 km/h. The RS sits 15 mm lower than the standard Octavia and comes equipped with a sport exhaust system to enhance its performance sound.
True to its “Rally Sport” DNA, the Octavia RS blends track-inspired dynamics with everyday comfort. The previous generation was discontinued in April 2023 due to BS6 Phase 2 norms, making this return even more significant for Skoda’s performance portfolio.
Skoda Octavia RS – Market Positioning and Rivals
