Triumph Motorcycles has launched the Scrambler 400 XC in India at an ex-showroom price of ₹2.94 lakh, expanding its mid-capacity lineup. Priced ₹28,000 higher than the standard Scrambler 400X, the new model is aimed at off-road enthusiasts and will compete with rivals like the Royal Enfield Scram 440. The Scrambler 400 XC is offered in three colour options: Racing Yellow, Storm Grey, and Vanilla White.
The Scrambler 400 XC comes fitted with off-road equipment as standard, including an engine guard, sump guard, high-mounted front fender, flyscreen, and tank pads, distinguishing it from its standard counterpart.
Powering the bike is a 398cc liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine that delivers 39.5 bhp and 37.5 Nm of torque, paired with a six-speed gearbox.
The motorcycle features cross-spoke wheels—19-inch at the front and 17-inch at the rear—fitted with tubeless dual-purpose tyres. Suspension duties are managed by a 43 mm USD fork up front and an adjustable mono-shock at the rear, while braking is handled by a 320 mm front disc and a 230 mm rear disc.
Key features include switchable off-road ABS, traction control, ride-by-wire throttle, LED lighting, and a USB charging port.
