2025 BYD Seal and Atto 3 launched in India: Here’s how you can buy at the price of the 2024 model

BYD Auto India has rolled out refreshed 2025 models of both the BYD Seal and Atto 3 in the country, marking the one-year anniversary of their introduction with notable improvements in comfort and feature sets. To date, the company has recorded sales of around 1,300 units for the Seal and 3,100 for the Atto 3. Here’s a closer look at what has been updated in each model:

BYD Atto 3

For the 2025 Atto 3, the EV SUV is now open for bookings with a nominal deposit of Rs 30,000. In a special offer for the first 3,000 units, buyers can secure the MY2025 Atto 3 at the 2024 pricing, with new rates to be announced later. The Dynamic variant, which is equipped with a 49.92kWh battery, is priced at Rs 24.99 lakh (ex-showroom). Meanwhile, the Premium and Superior trims, featuring a larger 60.48kWh battery pack, are available at Rs 29.85 lakh and Rs 33.99 lakh respectively.

The Atto 3 has received a host of updates including a completely black-themed interior and ventilated front seats. A significant enhancement is the replacement of the traditional lead acid battery with a Lithium Iron Phosphate (LFP) battery, which BYD claims is six times lighter and offers a service life of up to 15 years.

BYD Seal

The 2025 Seal is offered in three variants – Dynamic, Premium, and Performance – with detailed pricing to be announced in April. Prospective buyers can reserve their Seal by paying Rs 1.25 lakh online or by visiting a nearby dealership, with bookings starting from March 11, 2025, and deliveries expected shortly after the price reveal.

In terms of updates, all Seal variants now come with a powered sunshade and integrated wireless support for Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Improvements have also been made to the air conditioning system, which now provides enhanced cooling and better air purification. Additionally, the Premium variant has been upgraded with Frequency Selective Dampers (FSD) to improve ride quality, while the top-of-the-line Performance model now incorporates an advanced DiSus-C damping system that automatically adjusts to real-time road conditions.
