Lamborghini Fenomeno Debuts: Most Powerful V12, Fastest 0–100 km/h for any Lamborghini

Automobili Lamborghini has unveiled its most powerful production vehicle to date, the Lamborghini Fenomeno, at Monterey Car Week 2025. The limited-run supercar combines a naturally aspirated V12 engine with three electric motors to deliver a combined output of 1,080 Hp. With acceleration figures and engineering tech never before seen on any Lamborghini, the Fenomeno sets new benchmarks in the company’s limited-edition line up. In India Lamborghini’s most recent launch was the Temerario, priced at Rs 6 crore (ex-showroom, before options).

Lamborghini Fenomeno – Exterior Design

The Lamborghini Fenomeno has been designed from the fround up as a longtail-proportioned super sports car, celebrating 20 years of the Centro Stile design studio. Its silhouette has a single central line running from the front to the rear, a design inspired by the Essenza SCV12. The front end incorporates dual air intakes on the hood, reminiscent of the Huracan GT3, alongside a new DRL light signature shaped after the horns of the bull on Lamborghini’s logo.Lamborghini Fenomeno

The name Fenomeno follows Lamborghini’s long-standing tradition of drawing inspiration from legendary fighting bulls. It comes from a courageous bull that fought in Morelia, Mexico, in 2002, and was ultimately pardoned for its extraordinary spirit. In both Italian and Spanish, Fenomeno translates to ‘phenomenal,’ a fitting tribute to something truly exceptional and unique. Lamborghini claims the side-cooling system is 30% more efficient than previous V12 models.

The launch car is finished in a shade of Giallo Crius paint, a celestial-inspired shade of yellow with racing-inspired carbon fiber fins. Wheels are single-nut forged rims, sized 21 inches at the front and 22 at the rear, shod with Bridgestone Potenza Sport tyres.

Lamborghini Fenomeno – Interior Design

Inside, the Lamborghini Fenomeno has a stripped-back but futuristic cabin. Following with the trend of newer Lambos, the Fenomeno is equipped with three digital screens, replacing most physical controls. Carbon fiber dominates the interior, from the central console and instrument cluster to the bucket seats.

Air vents made with 3D-printing technology and ambient lighting make it feel almost space-ship like. The Ad Personam program allows customers to choose from over 400 exterior colors and an almost limitless palette of interior materials and finishes, allowing for a unique specification on almost each car.

Lamborghini Fenomeno – Engine and Powertrain

The mid-engine 6.5-liter V12 remains the heart of the Lamborghini Fenomeno, producing 835 Hp at 9,250 rpm and revving to 9,500 rpm. With a specific output of 128 Hp per liter, it is the most powerful naturally aspirated V12 Lamborghini has ever produced. Torque is rated at 725 Nm, with 80% available from 3,500 rpm.

Three electric motors add a further 245 Hp with two axial-flow units on the front axle and a third integrated into the new eight-speed dual-clutch gearbox. Together, the system provides a combined output of 1,080 Hp and 350 Nm from each front motor. A 7 kWh lithium-ion battery powers the system and allows for limited zero-emission driving in certain modes.

Performance figures underline the engineering focus: 0–100 km/h is achieved in 2.4 seconds, 0–200 km/h in 6.7 seconds, and top speed exceeds 350 km/h. The weight-to-power ratio is 1.64 kg/CV, the best in the brand’s history.

Lamborghini Fenomeno – Suspension and Dynamics

The Lamborghini Fenomeno debuts several firsts for the marque. A 6D sensor, mounted near the center of gravity, measures accelerations and angular velocities on six axes. It feeds data into the Integrated Vehicle Estimator, which uses predictive algorithms to adapt braking and stability systems in real time.

Braking is handled by the new CCM-R Plus carbon-ceramic system, developed with race car technology. The discs are built from carbon fibers in a 3D matrix and coated for durability, providing consistent stopping power. Stopping distance from 100 km/h is quoted at 30 meters.

Suspension consists of manually adjustable racing shocks, tuned for track precision while allowing calibration for different driving conditions. The integrated control systems, combined with torque vectoring from the front motors, aim to deliver stability and agility at both road and circuit speeds.

Lamborghini Fenomeno – Market Positioning and Rivals

The Lamborghini Fenomeno follows a tradition of limited-run models such as the Reventón (2007), Sesto Elemento (2010), Veneno (2013), Centenario (2016), Sián (2019) and Countach (2021). Production numbers have been set at 29 units and it is positioned as an exclusive collector’s item. Each of them priced at 3 million pounds and all of them are sold out.

In market terms, the car sits in the space of hybrid hypercars, competing indirectly with the Ferrari SF90 XX Stradale, Aston Martin Valkyrie, and Mercedes-AMG One. Its V12-hybrid system distinguishes it from rivals that lean more heavily on electrification or downsized engines.
