Lamborghini Temerario launched in India at Rs 6 crores!

Lamborghini India has launched the new Temerario in India, priced at Rs 6 crore (ex-showroom, before options). The new model replaces the Huracan, which was discontinued in 2024. The Lamborghini Temerario competes with the Ferrari 296 GTB and McLaren Artura in India, priced at Rs 5.4 crore and Rs 5.1 crore respectively.

The hybrid supercar is equipped with a 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 petrol engine and three electric motors, generating a combined 920 bhp and 1,029 Nm of torque. The engine produces 789 bhp and 729 Nm, while the electric motors contribute 148 bhp and 300 Nm. Power is transmitted via an 8-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox. A 3.8 kWh battery supports the hybrid system and can be charged in 30 minutes with a 7 kW AC charger.

The car accelerates from 0 to 100 kmph in 2.7 seconds and reaches a top speed of 340 kmph. Lamborghini claims the V8 engine revs up to 10,000 rpm, making it the highest-revving V8 in any production vehicle. Though the Temerario comes with all-wheel drive, it stands out as the first Lamborghini to offer a dedicated drift mode.

The Temerario features Lamborghini’s familiar wedge-shaped body, low profile, and aerodynamic design. The front includes sharp lines and LED headlights with hexagonal DRLs. At the rear, a central exhaust system is positioned between hexagonal tail-lamps.

The interior houses a 12.3-inch digital driver display, a 9.1-inch passenger screen, and an 8.4-inch vertical infotainment system compatible with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. A new three-spoke steering wheel is included, along with five drive modes: Citta (FWD, fully electric), Strada, Sport and Corsa.
