Hyundai Motor India has just launched the much anticipated 2025 Hyundai Venue in the Indian market with prices starting from Rs 7.89 lakh (ex-showroom, introductory). Bookings for the 2025 Venue are now open across all Hyundai dealerships, with a token amount of Rs 25,000 and the deliveries are expected to begin soon.
2nd Gen Hyundai Venue – Exterior Design
Hyundai has thoroughly revamped the Venue for its latest generation, giving the compact SUV a sharper, more contemporary identity. The front end now adopts a split-headlamp setup flanked by C-shaped LED daytime running lights, along with a broader dark-chrome grille for a more assertive look. A newly contoured bumper enhances its muscular stance, and the SUV’s overall size has slightly grown – it’s now 48 mm taller and 30 mm wider than its predecessor. Dimensionally, it measures 3,995 mm in length, 1,800 mm in width, and 1,665 mm in height, while keeping the 2,520 mm wheelbase unchanged.

Along the sides, the Venue sports redesigned 16-inch diamond-cut alloys, prominent wheel arches, and a distinctive C-pillar treatment that adds to its road presence. Additional touches such as an embedded “VENUE” logo within the glass and bridge-style roof rails round off the updated silhouette.
2nd Gen Hyundai Venue – Interior Design and Features
Inside, the Venue has been transformed into a much more premium cabin. The dashboard is dominated by a dual 12.3-inch curved panoramic display, integrating both the infotainment system and the digital instrument cluster in a seamless unit. A Navy and Dove Grey interior theme, Moon White ambient lighting, and new comfort additions like reclining rear seats, rear window sunshades, and a ventilated, power-adjustable driver’s seat elevate the overall experience. Other features include a voice-controlled sunroof, blind-spot view monitor, and several convenience upgrades.
Hyundai has introduced its Connected Car Navigation Cockpit (ccNC) system developed with NVIDIA – which underpins much of the new SUV’s advanced tech. The twin-screen setup is paired with a Bose 8-speaker premium audio system, and the Venue now offers 70 connected car functions and over 400 voice commands in multiple languages including English, Hindi, and Tamil. It also supports Over-the-Air (OTA) updates across 20 control units, ensuring ongoing software and security enhancements.
2nd Gen Hyundai Venue – Safety Features
On the safety front, the 2025 Venue now offers ADAS Level 2 under Hyundai’s SmartSense suite. This includes Smart Cruise Control, Forward Collision Avoidance Assist, Lane Keeping Assist, and a total of 16 driver assistance functions. The body structure is composed of 71% high-strength steel, and Hyundai has equipped the SUV with over 65 safety features, 33 of which are standard such as six airbags, ESC, hill-start assist, and all-wheel disc brakes.

2nd Gen Hyundai Venue – Powertrain and Variant Options
Powertrain options remain familiar, featuring the 1.2-litre petrol, 1.0-litre turbo-petrol, and 1.5-litre diesel units, offered with manual, automatic, or DCT transmissions depending on the variant.

Hyundai has also introduced a fresh naming system for the model range, dubbed the HX Series (short for Hyundai Experience). Petrol variants will be sold as HX2, HX4, HX5, HX6, HX6T, HX8, and HX10, while diesel models come as HX2, HX5, HX7, and HX10. Buyers can choose from six single-tone and two dual-tone paint finishes, with new additions like Hazel Blue and Mystic Sapphire. The dual-tone options pair Hazel Blue or Atlas White with a contrasting Abyss Black roof for added flair.
2nd Gen Hyundai Venue – Price, Market Positioning, and Rivals
Hyundai has priced the 2nd Gen Hyundai Venue competitively to maintain its foothold in the compact SUV market. The 1.2L petrol variants start at ₹7.89 lakh, going up to around ₹9.14 lakh (ex-showroom). Diesel and turbo-petrol automatic variants are expected to command a premium.

The SUV continues to compete against strong rivals including the Tata Nexon, Maruti Suzuki Brezza, Kia Sonet, Skoda Kylaq and Mahindra XUV3x0. While the previous Venue leaned on design and feature appeal, the 2nd Gen Hyundai Venue positions itself as a more comprehensive package emphasizing technology, safety, and driving refinement.
