Upcoming Car Launches In July 2026: New Toyota Hilux, Brezza Facelift, Nissan Tekton and More !

The first half of 2026 has been a busy one for the Indian automobile industry, and July is shaping up to continue that momentum. June brought several important launches including the Mercedes-Benz S Class facelift, the locally assembled Mini Countryman C, India’s first flex fuel passenger car, the Maruti Wagon R Flex Fuel, and the Tata Sierra EV on June 30. With the second half of the year now underway, manufacturers have lined up a diverse range of new launches and global debuts across multiple price segments. Here is a look at the most important cars expected to arrive in July 2026.

Upcoming Car Launches July 2026 – Renault Kwid Facelift

Renault will kick off the month with the updated Kwid, which is scheduled to make its debut on July 3. First introduced in 2015 and updated in 2019, the current generation has been on sale for nearly seven years. The facelift is expected to bring revised styling inspired by the Dacia Spring sold overseas, along with updates to the interior and equipment list.

Mechanically, the Kwid is expected to retain its familiar 1.0 litre naturally aspirated petrol engine producing 69hp and 92.5Nm, paired with either a five speed manual gearbox or an AMT. The facelift is likely to carry a small premium over the outgoing model, which is currently priced between Rs 4.30 lakh and Rs 5.88 lakh, ex showroom. It will also become Renault’s second car launch of the year after the return of the Duster earlier in 2026.

Upcoming Car Launches July 2026 – Nissan Tekton

Nissan is all set to unveil the Tekton on July 9. Positioned as the company’s midsize SUV for India, the Tekton shares its platform and mechanicals with the Renault Duster but features completely redesigned exterior styling inspired by the flagship Nissan Patrol and Nissan calls it the “Baby Patrol.”

The SUV is expected to offer a 1.0 litre turbo petrol engine producing 100hp and 166Nm along with a more powerful 1.3 litre turbo petrol unit developing 163hp and 280Nm. Both engines are likely to be available with a six speed manual gearbox, while the 1.3 litre version will also get a seven speed dual clutch automatic transmission. It remains to be seen whether the hybrid powertrain available internationally on the Duster will eventually make its way to the Tekton. Prices are expected to be close to the Renault Duster’s Rs 10.49 lakh to Rs 18.69 lakh ex showroom range.

Upcoming Car Launches July 2026 – Maruti Suzuki Brezza Facelift

The next upcoming car launch in July is the facelifted Brezza later this month. The updated SUV has already been spotted testing several times and is expected to receive refreshed styling, redesigned alloy wheels and a larger 10.1 inch touchscreen infotainment system replacing the current 9 inch unit.

One of the biggest expected changes is under the bonnet. The facelifted Brezza could become the first version of the SUV to receive Maruti Suzuki’s 1.0 litre Boosterjet turbo petrol engine producing 100hp and 148Nm. A new six speed manual gearbox could also be introduced. The current 1.5 litre petrol engine and CNG option are also expected to continue. Another important update could be the introduction of the new underbody mounted CNG tank, improving luggage space without compromising practicality.

Upcoming Car Launches July 2026 – MG New SUV

JSW MG Motor India is also expected to expand its portfolio with a new three row SUV, widely believed to be based on the Wuling Starlight 560. The SUV measures 4,745mm in length and offers seating for seven passengers while packing several premium features including LED lighting, 18 inch alloy wheels, a 12.8 inch touchscreen infotainment system, an 8.8 inch digital instrument cluster, panoramic sunroof and wireless phone charging.

Globally, the SUV is offered with both plug in hybrid and fully electric powertrains. The plug in hybrid combines a 1.5 litre petrol engine with an electric motor and a 20.5kWh battery, delivering 195hp and a claimed driving range of over 1,000km. The electric version uses a 69.2kWh battery with a claimed CLTC range of 530km. MG has not yet confirmed which version will be launched in India.

Upcoming Car Launches July 2026 – New Generation Toyota Hilux

Toyota is expected to introduce the ninth generation Hilux in India later this month. Based on the latest IMV body on frame platform, the new pickup receives a significantly redesigned exterior with slimmer LED headlamps, a larger grille, vertically stacked tail lamps and a more rugged appearance.

The cabin also receives a complete overhaul with twin 12.3 inch displays, a redesigned dashboard, wireless phone charging, powered and ventilated front seats and several new comfort features. Power is expected to come from Toyota’s familiar 2.8 litre diesel engine producing 204hp and 500Nm, paired with the new 48V mild hybrid system already introduced on the Fortuner Neo Drive. However all these specs and features mentioned are based on the global specifications, what makes it to the India spec model will only be confirmed at launch.

Upcoming Car Launches July 2026 – Honda ZR-V Hybrid

Honda will round off the month with the launch of the ZR V Hybrid, which will become the company’s flagship SUV in India. Pre bookings have already been open since May, with deliveries expected to begin shortly after launch.

The SUV comes equipped with LED headlamps, 18 inch alloy wheels, a 9 inch touchscreen infotainment system, a 10.25 inch digital instrument cluster, dual zone climate control, wireless charging and a 12 speaker Bose audio system. Power comes from Honda’s proven 2.0 litre petrol hybrid setup that combines two electric motors to produce 184hp and 315Nm through an e CVT gearbox. Honda claims a fuel efficiency figure of 22.79kpl. As the SUV will be imported as a completely built unit, prices are expected to fall between Rs 45 lakh and Rs 50 lakh, ex showroom.
