The inaugural edition of Generation Speed 2025, India’s biggest motoring festival, concluded on a high note at Aamby Valley on February 22-23. Created by the minds behind India Bike Week, the festival attracted over 10,000 auto enthusiasts, celebrating speed, performance, and car culture like never before.
Festival Director Martin Da Costa called it a “dream start,” as the event showcased over 200 stunning cars and bikes, thrilling races, exclusive unveilings, and engaging discussions with motorsport legends. The Curated Car Run featured breathtaking collections, including Joey Postel’s JDM lineup, the Maharaj of Gondal’s classic cars, and Speed Shikari Run’s rare exotics tearing down the track. Tuners Paradise highlighted high-performance modifications, while the JK Tyre motorsport team put on a spectacular showcase of Formula 4, drift cars, and stunt performances.
Motorsport competitions kept adrenaline levels high, with Autocross, Drift, and Time Trials attracting fierce competition. The Drift Championship, judged by FIA’s Yousuf Al Herais, crowned five winners who earned a spot at the Red Bull Motojam Moto Clinic. The FMSCI-backed Autocross Championship saw standout performances, with Divya Parmar and Minal Chitroda dominating multiple categories.
Beyond racing, attendees experienced Drift Taxi rides, off-road adventures, and rally car thrills. Engaging conversations with motorsport veterans like Vicky Chandok and Sanjay Takale inspired young racers, while the Pathfinders Serai spotlighted legendary overlanders. A vibrant live music lineup, club parades, and community-driven experiences made Generation Speed a true celebration of automotive culture.
With its phenomenal debut, Generation Speed aims to become a year-round festival, fostering India’s motoring community and setting new benchmarks for automotive excellence.
