Hyundai Exter and Aura gets new variants and features: Check what’s new!

Hyundai Motor India has introduced updated versions of the Exter micro-SUV and Aura compact sedan, bringing new variants and additional features to both models. The Exter lineup now includes the SX Tech and S+ variants, while the S variant receives added features. The S Executive and S+ Executive trims now offer a CNG option. Meanwhile, the Aura sedan gets a new Corporate variant, available in both petrol and CNG options.

Hyundai Exter Updates

The starting price of the Exter remains at Rs 6 lakh for the base EX variant, but the range now extends up to Rs 9.53 lakh for the newly launched top-end SX Tech dual-cylinder CNG variant.

SX Tech Trim Features

Positioned below the top-spec SX(O) and SX(O) Connect trims, the new SX Tech variant is available with petrol-manual, petrol-AMT, and CNG-manual options. Key features include keyless entry and go, a dashcam with front and rear cameras, an electric sunroof, an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, automatic climate control, and projector headlamps.

S+ and S Variant Features

The S+ trim comes equipped with an electric sunroof, 15-inch dual-tone-styled steel wheels, and a rear camera with static guidelines. It also features an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, rear AC vents, and electrically adjustable outside rearview mirrors.

The S variant includes a rear parking camera with static guidelines, electronic stability control (ESC), vehicle stability management (VSM), and hill start assist control (HAC). It also gets 15-inch dual-tone-styled steel wheels and an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.

Hyundai Aura Updates

The 2025 Aura receives a new Corporate trim, positioned between the existing S and SX variants. It is priced at Rs 7.48 lakh for the petrol model and Rs 8.47 lakh for the CNG version (both ex-showroom). The Corporate variant is Rs 10,000 more expensive than the S trim.

Corporate Trim Features

The Aura Corporate trim comes with a 6.75-inch touchscreen display audio system, 15-inch dual-tone-styled steel wheels, and LED daytime running lamps (DRLs). Additional features include a rear wing spoiler, a Highline tyre pressure monitoring system, rear AC vents, a rear center armrest with a cup holder, and an exclusive Corporate emblem.

Powertrain Details

Both the Hyundai Exter and Aura are powered by a 1.2-litre, four-cylinder, naturally aspirated petrol engine that produces 83hp and 114Nm of torque. In the CNG variant, the engine delivers 69hp and 95.2Nm of torque, paired exclusively with a 5-speed manual gearbox.
