MG Motor India has introduced the 2025 MG Astor in the Indian market, with prices starting at Rs 9.99 lakh (ex-showroom). The updated model brings new variants, enhanced features, and improved safety. Notably, the mid-spec Shine variant, now priced under Rs 12.5 lakh, comes equipped with a panoramic sunroof, making it one of the most affordable compact SUVs to offer this feature. The 2025 MG Astor is available in five variants:
• Sprint – Rs 9.99 lakh
• Shine – Rs 12.47 lakh
• Select – Rs 13.81 lakh
• Sharp Pro – Rs 15.2 lakh
• Savvy Pro – Rs 17.45 lakh (Ivory) / Rs 17.55 lakh (Sangaria Red)
The Shine variant now comes equipped with a panoramic sunroof and a 6-speaker sound system. Additionally, the Select variant now includes six airbags and leatherette seat upholstery.
Feature Highlights
The 2025 Astor offers a 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a 7-inch digital instrument cluster, a 6-way power-adjustable driver’s seat, and automatic climate control. The infotainment system has also been upgraded with i-SMART 2.0, featuring a new user interface. Other connected car features include over 80+ connected functions, Jio voice recognition, and a digital key.
Safety and Driver Assistance

The 2025 Astor continues with the same engine options:
• 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine – Produces 110 PS and 144 Nm of torque, paired with either a 5-speed manual transmission or a CVT automatic.
• 1.3-litre turbo-petrol engine – Generates 140 PS and 220 Nm of torque, mated to a 6-speed automatic transmission.
