Mahindra has introduced the Mahindra XUV 3XO REVX Series in India with an entry price of ₹8.94 lakh (ex-showroom). The new line-up expands the current XUV 3XO portfolio and is aimed at buyers seeking a more value-for-money and updated tech package. Mahindra is aiming to retain its momentum in the sub-4m segment just after the XUV 3XO recently crossed 1 lakh units in sales.
Mahindra most recent launch was the introduction of the 79 kWh battery pack in the pack two variants of the XEV 9e and BE6 electric SUV’s.
Mahindra XUV 3XO REVX Series – Design Updates
Design changes on the Mahindra XUV 3XO REVX Series distinguish it from the standard variants, though the overall body structure remains the same. The front gets a new body-coloured grille, framed by full-width LED daytime running lamps. All variants in the REVX range feature blacked-out wheel designs and a dual-tone roof to add contrast.
These visual cues are backed by subtle enhancements such as black ORVMs, painted alloys (in top trims), and the addition of distinctive ‘REVX’ badging across the series. Rear styling also receives mild tweaks, with LED lighting signatures updated across the tail lamps.
Mahindra XUV 3XO REVX Series – Interior and Technology
Inside the cabin, the Mahindra XUV 3XO REVX Series introduces leatherette upholstery even on lower trims, aiming to improve the perceived value. In-cabin upgrades include a 10.24-inch touchscreen infotainment system as standard, steering-mounted controls, and four to six speakers depending on the variant. The layout and dashboard design remain unchanged, but material finishes and tech features have been enhanced to reflect a more premium positioning under ₹10 lakh.
The REVX M(O) variant adds a single-pane sunroof, while the top-end REVX A variant brings in a panoramic sunroof, dual-tone interiors, wireless charging, cruise control, and automatic headlamps and wipers. Mahindra is also offering Adrenox Connect in the REVX A, which includes built-in Alexa, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and an online navigation suite. The twin 10.24-inch displays (infotainment and digital cluster) introduced in the REVX A are identical in size but serve different functions, with the driver cluster providing full digital instrumentation.
Mahindra XUV 3XO REVX Series – Engine and Transmission
There are two engine options available across the Mahindra XUV 3XO REVX Series. The REVX M and M(O) variants use the 1.2L mStallion TCMPFi petrol engine that produces 110hp of power and 200 Nm of torque. This unit is paired only with a manual gearbox.
The REVX A, on the other hand, features the more powerful 1.2L mStallion TGDi engine, delivering 130 hp of power and 230 Nm of torque. Both manual and automatic transmissions are available with this engine. Mahindra claims this unit offers best-in-segment power output, although claimed fuel efficiency numbers are not disclosed at launch.
No diesel variants or all-wheel-drive options are offered, keeping the lineup focused on buyers seeking petrol-powered compact SUVs.
Mahindra XUV 3XO REVX Series – Safety and Standard Equipment
All variants of the Mahindra XUV 3XO REVX Series come equipped with six airbags as standard. Other safety features include Electronic Stability Control (ESC), Hill Hold Control, all-wheel disc brakes, ISOFIX child seat mounts, and three-point seatbelts for all passengers. The standard 3XO had received a 5-star safety rating from Bharat-NCAP, since the REVX series is a mere design update the safety rating will be applicable to the REVX variants as well.
The REVX A variant extends this list with additional features such as a rear camera, tyre pressure monitoring system, auto-dimming IRVM, and passive keyless entry. That said, many features such as front height-adjustable seatbelts and rear AC vents have been carried over from lower variants and remain unchanged.
Mahindra XUV 3XO REVX Series – Price Range and Variants
The REVX Series currently includes three main variants:
- REVX M (₹8.94 lakh)
- REVX M(O) (₹9.44 lakh)
- REVX A (Manual at ₹11.79 lakh, Automatic at ₹12.99 lakh)
This pricing places the REVX Series slightly above the entry-level XUV 3XO variants, but well within the ₹9–13 lakh bracket that remains competitive in the compact SUV market. The top-end REVX A automatic variant, however, does venture into higher territory, overlapping with mid-variants of larger SUVs like the Hyundai Creta and Maruti Grand Vitara.
Mahindra XUV 3XO REVX Series – Colour Options
Mahindra is offering the XUV 3XO REVX Series in five colours: Galaxy Grey, Tango Red, Nebula Blue, Everest White, and Stealth Black. All variants come with a contrasting dual-tone roof finish as standard, either black or grey depending on the primary colour.
Mahindra XUV 3XO REVX Series – Market Positioning and Rivals
The Mahindra XUV 3XO REVX Series competes directly with other compact SUVs such as the Tata Nexon, Hyundai Venue, Maruti Brezza, Kia Sonet, Renault Kiger and the Nissan Magnite. Among these, it has a certain advantage by offering six airbags and LED lighting across the range, even in sub-₹10 lakh variants.
Where rivals tend to offer features like sunroofs and wireless connectivity to exclusively on higher trims, Mahindra has made these accessible at multiple price points within the REVX range. However, the absence of diesel options may affect demand in certain markets where fuel economy remains a priority.
