MG Hector prices hiked
MG Motor has announced a price hike of upto 2.5% for all variants of the Hector SUV. Currently, the Hector is priced between Rs. 14.73-21.73 Lakhs (Ex-showroom). The hike would push the entry-level price to more than Rs 15 Lakhs (Ex-showroom) while the top variant could go beyond Rs. 22 Lakhs (Ex-showroom). The feature list however, remains unchanged.

Under the hood, it gets powered by either a 2.0L diesel or a 1.5L Petrol engine. The diesel gets paired to a 6 speed manual transmission and puts out 170HP and 350NM. The Petrol on the other hand gets an option of a 6 speed manual or a CVT automatic. The 1.5L unit makes 143HP and 250NM.
Talking of the equipment list, it gets features such as ADAS Level 2, electric tailgate, ventilated seats, wireless Android Auto/ Apple Carplay and more. MG had given the Hector a major facelift in January as well. It competes with other rivals such as the Tata Harrier, Mahindra XUV700 and Hyundai Alcazar among others.
