MG ZS EV Exclusive Pro variant launched; gets ADAS suite

The addition of ADAS brings the equipment list at par with its sibling, Astor.

MG Motor has launched a new top-end variant of their ZS EV electric SUV at an introductory price of Rs.27.90 Lakhs (Ex-showroom). With the inclusion of ADAS, the equipment list is now at par with its petrol-powered sibling Astor. There have been no changes mechanically.

MG ZS EV Exclusive Pro Features

The Exclusive Pro now becomes the top-most variant on the ZS EV above the Excite and Exclusive trims. As a part of it, the car now gets equipped with more ADAS Level 2 features such as Forward Collision Warning, Adaptive Cruise Control, Traffic Jam Assist, Lane Keep Assist, Speed Assist and more. Previously, and on lower variants it was only equipped with Blind Spot Detection, Rear Cross traffic Alert and Lane Change Assist.

Rest of the equipment list remains largely unchanged and it continues to offer features such as a 10.1 inch touchscreen infotainment system, wireless phone charging, auto headlamps, 6-way adjustable electric driver seat, 7 inch digital instrument cluster and more. In terms of safety, it comes with 6 airbags, ABS+EBD, ESC, Cornering Assist and ESP among else.

MG ZS EV Details

On the outside and under the hood, the ZS EV Exclusive Pro remains unchanged. It gets powered by a 50.3kWh battery and an electric motor which delivers 175HP and 280NM of torque. MG claims that it does the 0-100Kmph sprint in a mere 8.5 seconds. Further, there have been no styling changes on the inside or outside. Colours offered on the ZS EV include Glaze Red, Aurora Silver, Starry Black and Candy White.

The new Exclusive Pro variant can be had for Rs. 27.90 Lakhs (Ex-showroom), a premium of Rs 59,000 over the Exclusive variant. The MG ZS EV competes with the Tata Nexon EV Max and Hyundai Kona and others.
