2024 TVS iQube: what’s changed

The biggest change in the iQube’s variant lineup is a new smaller 2.2kWh battery option. According to TVS, this battery will enable the iQube to have a range of 75Km along with a charger that puts out 950W of power giving it the ability to recharge from 0-80% in 2 hours. The hub-mounted motor remains the same and is rated for a peak power of 4.4HP with a torque figure of 33NM. Besides this, it has a restricted top speed at 75Kmph along with a smaller 30L boot space. Despite being a base model, it will retain features such as a 5 inch TFT screen, turn-by-turn navigation, connected bike technology, voice assist and USB charging port among else. The variant has been priced competitively at Rs. 94,999 (Ex-showroom) for the introductory period and will be available in the Walnut Brown and Pearl White paint options.

The other change announced by TVS is that the top-end ST variant will now also be available with a smaller 3.4kWh battery pack with a range of 100Kms with a top speed of 78Kmph. It will come with features such as a 32L boot space, TPMS, digital document storage, a 7 inch TFT screen and more. Priced at Rs. 1,55,555 (Ex-showroom Bengaluru including subsidies), it is available in Copper Bronze Matte, Coral Sand Satin, Titanium Gray Matte and Starlight Blue paint schemes.

Besides these, TVS has also announced that it has started deliveries of the top-end ST variant equipped with 5.1kWh battery pack. While bookings for this variant were opened previously, production was yet to commence due to some issues in the development stage. With the introduction of these, the iQube is now available in five variants- the base iQube getting the 2.2kWh battery, the iQube, iQube S and the iQube ST are now available with the 3.4kWh battery while the top ST trim also gets an option of a 5.1kWh battery pack. The TVS iQube competes with other EV scooters such as the Ola S1, Bajaj Chetak and the newly launched Ather Rizta.
