Ultraviolette Shockwave launched in India at Rs 1.5 lakh: Electric ADV with 505 Nm torque!

Along with the Tesseract, Ultraviolette Automotive has also launched the Shockwave, an off-road-capable electric motorcycle, at an introductory price of ₹1.50 lakh (ex-showroom) for the first 2,000 buyers. After this, the price will increase to ₹1.75 lakh. The bike is road-legal, allowing registration for public road use. Pre-bookings are available through Ultraviolette’s official website and dealerships. Deliveries will begin in the first quarter of 2026.

The motorcycle is powered by a 14.5 bhp electric motor, generating 505 Nm of peak torque at the wheel. It is equipped with a 4kWh battery pack, providing a certified IDC range of 165 km per charge. Weighing 125 kg, it accelerates from 0-60 km/h in 2.9 seconds and has a top speed of 120 km/h.

Built on a new lightweight platform, the Shockwave takes design cues from rally motorcycles. It features a high-mounted front fender, a slim single-piece seat, a vertically stacked LED headlamp, a tall handlebar with a compact flyscreen, and a sharp rear fender. The bike rides on 19-inch front and 17-inch rear wire-spoke wheels, supported by telescopic forks and a rear monoshock. Disc brakes are fitted on both wheels.
